Oswald had bought the goblets down that Gawain had given them as a gift, she took a sip of the champagne, which was very refreshing as she had become quite parched, just as Arthur had raised his voice thanking Kenrich for his speech. She held her goblet up Cheers!

She smiled and was about to take another sip when her husband pressed his lips against hers, kissing her deeply. For that moment they were alone, which she often felt when in his arms, he then stepped away from her and she looked around flustered now that they were being watched and he had left her side.

When he spoke up again, making his own toast to her, her heart racing as she looked to him for support, she smiled trying to hide her nerves as she felt her stomach flutter and her cheeks now surely crimson.

At that moment her nervousness was unnoticeable to her as the words rang in her head she stepped up to him, I love you my Husband and you have made me so very happy she clinked her goblet against his saying To US without even taking another drink she pressed her lips on his again to feel that security that she did when only with him. Their lips parting as she once again realised where they were resting her forehead on his shoulder trying to hide her face she giggled and murmured my goodness

She knew politeness dictated she say she was pleased to meet him, but could not bring herself to as she looked around for a way to escape without hurting Brianna's feelings. There was something going on here, and she had a feeling it wasn't something she wanted to know.

Glad for the distraction of the toasts, Kyley picked up her goblet and turned, smiling at the bride and groom, trying to give herself time to assimilate to the changes wrought in her long absence.

Next, Lynna and he had approached Maeve. They were curious to know who was this mystery man she had married. Last they both heard, the Duke of Stafford was courting her, err.. well trying to? Arthur wasn't even sure. As Arthur and Lynna were making their final rounds around the table, he could see the cake being moved to a table.

Lynna had told him that she had gotten a local Coventry baker to make the cake. Leading his bride to table, he admired the craftsmanship on the cake before turning to her. Ready to cut the cake, Love?

Oswald brought over the serving knife for the couple to use to cut the cake and removed the top tier. He handed them a simple silver serving knife that had been saved for this exact moment.

The couple took the knife, and together they cut a piece from the bottom tier of the cake. They both tried placing the piece on a plate, almost crumbling while trying to transfer. Arthur took a piece, laughing as it was so soft and held it up to Lynna's lips. Hungry? He grinned knowing he was being very suggestive but he knew only she could hear.

She also spotted Maeve and had been curious since her reply to their invitation to know what was going on with her, she looked very happy but didn't want to pry either., well maybe just a little she thoughtYou're looking wonderful Maeve, Congratulations on your marriage, as she took her hand and gave her a hug, so tell us who is this mystery man of yours, is it someone we know? She grinned at her hoping she would indulge them with the information...

They were making the rounds still when they were ushered over to cut the cake which had been bought in and placed on the cake table.As Oswald came over with the knife and server he offered them the handle of the knife. Holding the knife together they cut the cake, their first task together as husband and wife, laughing as they tried together to move the piece onto a plate. Lynna stood up and shook her head a little, We made a bit of a mess of that my Love, she said as Arthur took a piece and bought it to her mouth, she peeked up at him as he grinned and said Hungry? she could tell his thoughts from his smirk as she tried to ignore it in fear of blushing again she held his wrist as she took the piece from his fingers, it was lovely mmmm mmm she grinned and licked his finger playfully, giggling before letting him go, she broke off another piece and held it to his mouth so he could taste it as well, they will always be there to provide for each other ....

He looked at Lynna, then offered it to her instead. After which, he kissed her on the lips as she was eating and then took a bite of his cake. She's my wife. She comes first, he thought while eating his cake.

she was really disappointed to see they had left, she wondered what had happened that they had to leave. She sighed thinking she wished they had spoken to her before leaving. When they get back to their room later she will check the gifts, her Cousin has excellent taste so she is sure she will be able to tell which was their gift. She held onto the napkin trying not to show the sadness she had just felt wondering again why they had to leave.

She held onto her husbands arm again and the nicer thought of him being there by her side as they continued their rounds. Arthur gave her a concerned look asking if everything was alright she smiled and said Yes thinking she would mention it later. Just then they were each given a plate with cake on, as it was bought out to the guests for dessert.

Arthur was about to eat the cake, which they had already tasted at the cake table, when he offered it her ,she smiled at the gesture and held his hand lightly as he placed it in her mouth. Kissing her before she had time to finish eating it as his lips left hers she put her fingers to her mouth trying to stop smiling so she could finish her mouthful.

After she did she kissed him again before looking into his eyes whispering I love you.

She took his hand, and he led her to the dance floor. It was upbeat entertainment by now, and they were dancing together. He would swirl her around, his hand catching her hip with each twirl to face him so she wouldn't get dizzy. He knew she loved to twirl, it made her giggle. Sometimes, he would twirl her to see if she would get dizzy! But he didn't want to do that tonight.

I sit back down again as they both move off to speak to the other guests

I check my pocket and realise that I have one extra box , then I should have .
I remember that one of them was meant for Liza , which I should of given to her at her Wedding Reception .
Quickly I wave over a Waiter and pass Liza's box to him , with intrustructions that Liza should wear it's contents asap .
The waiter nods and hurries away , I follow his passage to Liza and see him hand it over to her .
When she looks up towards me , I nod to her .
I raise my glass to her and take a sip from it before following the Arthur and Lynna's progress round the guests

Making it to the other side of the room without further mishap, she approaches the man standing there. She gives him her most charming smile and dips into a slight curtsy. Would you care to humor this old married lady with a dance, my friend? she asks Gawain as she straightens.

Seeing her stumble slightly he took the champagne fluet off her and said I think you have had enough of that, it will get you drunk far to fast. he quickly drinks what was left in the fluet and hands her a beer Here you *hips* go have this ins*hips*tead..........hmmm would seem I'm *hips* drunker than I thought shruging his shoulders he grabs himself another beer and then placing his arm around Lizzy they walk out of the main hall quickly before Liza spots them escaping and head to find a nice spot to relax outside.

Once outside, the cold night air was a true relief, although had she been entirely sober it would have been unbearably cold.

There were lights burning warmly in all the windows, and torches lit the driveway, the sound of laughter filtered out from the stables, where the staff seemed to be having a party of their own, probably somewhat more raucous than the official one.

Looking around for somewhere to sit, and seeing a stone bench against the wall, Lizzy headed that way, checking that Moose was following, and, shivering now in the bitter cold, sat down and tried not to look nervous...

They continue to twirl around the dance floor in step to the music.

Things have been wonderful, she tells him. I have never been happier. She tilts her head and considers him. And for you? How have you been? Is the Deacon life suiting you?
