Hugging her back gently she smiled "Just return them when you can no hurries returning them this evening.. I just want to make sure they are their for when Ana gets married it is very important for her to have that piece of her father.. " she smiles softly again.. "And make sure to keep an eye on them around Donnor" she smiled ryly ..

"Nephew I do not how you got so lucky but im glad you did and it was lynna.. Treat her well or I may keep her and disown you to some far off land.." she chuckled softly..

[Lynna]

Myxti looks back at the bar and sees her cousin downing drinks and flirting with the ladies....and they flirting back. She shakes her head and then looks back over at Ken.

"I love to dance. I will definitely save you one....or three. I really like to dance."

She laughs and wonders if Ken will be able to keep up. Dancing was something that she really enjoyed. She noticed that Wolf sat down and mentioned some items to Liza. She hoped that he was not talking about her "picture."

[Lynna]

She smiled back at Brianna her eyes twinkling, I will personally make sure they are returned, it is such and honour to wear them touching the necklace again, she missed her brother terribly. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening and I am sure we will get together again off and on as the night goes I am just so happy you were able to come down for the wedding she said to Bri, Evan and Tasite.

Not entirely sure if Arthur was as amused as she was at his aunties comment she tried to not make it too obvious that she was. She glanced around the tables and wondered where the rest of the wedding party were hiding. The table they were meant to be at was empty so they must be around here some where she thought.

Then she spotted Ken and Gawain sitting with their friends, but still no sign of her brother and cousins Logoth, Grizelda, Eric and Gretl. She was hoping to speak to Gretl sometime soon, as she would love to hear her play for them.

She could see Eary, Lerendus and Smon, Lers fiance and gave them a smile and a wave so that they would know she would come say hello ...

She stood by Arthur as he continued to chat to his aunties and uncle passing the box to Oswald as he walked past them, Oswald could you please have this box taken to my room for me she asked.

Of course M'lady he smiled and nodded as he continued on his way to check on staff.

She turned back to Arthur and held his hand with both of hers.

[Lynna]

Liza kisses Wolf as he hands her the drink and playfully taps his arm, laughing. You know those gifts are counted. Oh, that reminds me! she exclaims. Getting to her feet, she gathers the gifts she had brought from them and takes them to the gift table, placing them with the rest. A crystal and diamond brooch for Lynna, and a jeweled dagger for Arthur.



Hoping they like them, she leaves them and heads back to her table and her friends until she and Wolf will have a chance to congratulate the couple. She sits down and pulls her chair closer to her husband's, leaning slightly against him to distract him from the gifts. Hearing the comments and looks pass between Myxti and her cousin, she grins at them, then turns to Wolf. You might have to dance with me yet, love, she tells him with a teasing laugh, knowing he loves to complain about it, but that he enjoys it as much as she does.

[Lynna]

He spots a few people he would like to run down but decides that would be better off in a different setting. ”I know of a few that I can find, but that is no reason for you not to give me some people you wouldn’t mind running down.” He grins at her mischievously as he thinks about what he wrote on the napkin. ”Don’t worry to much about that right now, you will hear it soon enough.” All he needed was a couple drinks that way he could claim the alcohol made him do it.

He laid his hand upon hers and squeezed it gently and winked suggestively at her comment as her face turned very red. Placing his hand on her cheek, he leans in and kisses her passionately before handing her his flask. ”We will need to take it easy on this if we want to give the guests a special gift at the end of the night.” He grinned as he thought about the special gift everyone got at the last reception he attended.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw the bride and groom enter the room. Not long after he noticed his newly discovered, Aunt Brianna rise to meet them and hand Lynna a gift. For some strange reason, he was curious about what it was. He watched as the gift was opened and his jaw dropped once it was revealed. With a smile, he looked at Aasha. ”Come dear, let’s go say hello to the new bride and groom.” He stood up and offered her his hand.

[Lynna]

His wink only deepened her already bright color, though the kiss causes her to completely forget her embarrassment. She was breathless and dizzy when he pulled back, her lips still parted and her eyes glazed. Accepting the flask, she took a deep drink, then coughed as it burned its way down, bring her crashing back to reality. Spec'al gif'...oh...

Eyes alight with mischief, she recaps the flask, and slips it into an inner jacket pocket, letting her hand deliberately linger on his chest as she smoothed the jacket back in place. Her hand in his, she followed him over to speak to his brother and new sister in law. Her palms were itching madly as they passed each over adorned noble. Worrying her lip between her teeth, she tried to focus on the bride and groom, almost stumbling as Lynna pulled out a necklace and tiara. She could see each stone clearly, imagining them out of their settings and glittering in the palm of her hand.

Still holding Donnor's hand, Aasha bowed slightly as they reached Lynna and Arthur. Welcomes to yer party...we was wonderin' if'n ya gots lost. She snickered as she eyed the couple, then said hello to Brianna, Evan and Tasite, once again noticing the jewels before the faces.

[Lynna]

As they reach the newly weds, Donnor nods his head to them gently. He held Aasha’s hand tight as he watched the jewels on the crown sparkle in the light. He was doing well in resisting the urge to take it and run, as he tried to find something to say to them. ”So big brother, when am I going to be an uncle?” He surprised himself as the comment slipped out as he tried to imagine what Lynna would look like with an extended belly and soon his thoughts were on his daughter Emma. It had been a while since he got to hold her and even talk to her but given the current situation he thought it was best to push that to the back of his mind.

Shaking the thought from his head, he turned to Evan. ”Hello uncle Evan…have you seen a stable boy around here?” He grinned and winked at him before turning to Brianna. Wrapping his arms around her he whispered into her ear. ”Auntie Bri, I need help paying off a fine, can you help poor me?” He didn’t really have a fine to pay, he has never been caught yet and just wanted money for no reason. He could have easily just slipped his hand into her purse and taken the money for himself, but decided against any more trouble until after he was well drunk from the free alcohol…and his toast.

[Lynna]

Gabby made a whisper to Pieter to which he nodded. They got up and with a bow from him and curtsy from her, to the table where the newlyweds were, exited the hall.
After picking up Leith and Delia from the Inn they headed towards home.

[Lynna]

Lerendus eyed many of the guests silently from his seat. He was not impressed. Was rather annoyed by the company. He leaned on the table and whispered quietly with Smom and Eary. They came to a decision. They would not stay, not with such company. He unfolded a cloth napkin, borrowed a hair pin from Smom, dipped it into the glass of wine before him, and scribbled a quick note for Lynna and Arthur to find later.

Dear Cousin Lynna,

Congratulations! We regret that we cannot stay for your reception. Your cousin Eary, myself, and my fiancé, Smom, wish you and Arthur all the best and a long happy future together.

P.S. We didn’t forget your wedding present. It’s on the table with the others, can you guess which one?

He folded up the napkin carefully and laid it back on the table for the newlywed to find. Sighing deeply he looked at the two women and rose slowly from his seat, taking their arms and heading out of the reception hall to their carriage for home.

[Lynna]

After a while of listening to all the chatter going on around him, Gawain stood up, walked over to the bar and ordered a drink.

Taking it, he then went and found his allocated seat at the wedding party's table and sat down.

[Lynna]

The jewels are beautiful. Thank you for making our day more special. He smoothed his hand over her neck where the jewels lay to feel the warmth of her body. He couldn't resist touching her even if briefly.

Nephew I do not how you got so lucky but im glad you did and it was lynna.. Treat her well or I may keep her and disown you to some far off land..

Arthur heard his Aunt's comment and was a little shocked! He always knew she wanted to be rid of him!

Auntie Bri! He exclaimed and found it slightly amusing at the same time. He saw Lynna stifle a giggle, and made a quick motion to tickle her into releasing her giggle. You aren't supposed to agree with her, wife! He realized this was the first time he had called her that. It felt natural to him and he smiled while gazing at her.

As we continued to chat, he overhead Lynna giving Oswald some instructions. He was usually aware of things surrounding him because he was nosy and curious. He caught the end of her instructions:

... this box taken to my room for me?

Our room, he corrected her and pulled her closer to his side. He kissed her tenderly feeling her blush. As she held on to his hand with both of hers, he could feel her excitement. She was ready to greet the other guests who had arrived. He excused themselves from his Auntie Bri, Evan, and Tasite promising to make his rounds to them again later that evening. Just as they were about to depart from his family, Donnor and aasha came to greet them.

He took aasha's comment in stride,

Welcomes to yer party...we was wonderin' if'n ya gots lost.

Lost? Not at all. We needed some alone time, he winked at her knowing she would take it in the spirit it was meant. On that same note, he heard his brother question him..

So big brother, when am I going to be an uncle?

He looked at Lynna and grinned. Maybe you won't have to wait too long? He loved to make her blush. He felt her place her cheek on his shoulder to hide her face and tighten her grip around his hand with hers. No more drinking, brother. You have had too much already, and the reception has barely begun. He joked and grinned, but he meant it. He didn't want any outbursts like what had happened at the wedding ceremony.

In the distance, he saw Gabby and Pieter. He waved and acknowledged their presence at the reception. He needed to send them a missive later to thank them for celebrating their union. He turned to Lynna and whispered in her ear, Gabby and Pieter just left. When we pass through Lichfield, we must visit them to thank them for coming.

Arthur looked for Lynna's family but couldn't find them. He knew that she had many come to the ceremony, but apparently they hadn't made it to the reception yet. He excused himself from Donnor and aasha, took Lynna's hands in his, and said to her: We must have our first dance as husband and wife. As he led her to the middle of the Grand hall, he could feel Lynna smiling. Oswald cued the entertainment to begin playing for the first dance of the evening.

[Lynna]

Kenrich laughed at Myxti comment about multi dances, he gave her a wink

"Aye that would be fun" he said with a smile, he had got good at dancing being he been to enough of these things.

[Lynna]

Yes our room she blushed Thank you Arthur as he corrected her comment to Oswald, she didn't realise that he had overheard, then again he never missed much.

He called her wife as he went to tickle her she squirmed and moved away a little before he pulled her back in laughing they really were husband and wife now and it sounded wonderful. You have given your auntie reason at times my Love, but you know Bri would never. She held onto him tightly again she loved the playfulness between them.

Just as Arthur excused them so they would move on Donnor and Aasha approached with Donnor asking about being an Uncle and Aasha thinking they might of been lost on the way from the Church to the castle. Arthur was answering the questions as they came she smiled at them both, acknowledging their congratulations thank you she giggled a little embaressed as Arthurs answers have been marked with suggestive overtones which at times have rung true.

He took on a stern voice to Donnor to curb his drinking disguised jokingly, she knew Donnor would get the message as Arthur wanted nothing to ruin their day.

She too had notice Pieter and Gabby leaving and gave them a wave after Arthur had whispered to her, saddened she didn't get a chance to speak to them yet. I do hope everything is alright Love for them to be leaving so quickly, maybe we did take a little too much time getting here. Her mind momentarily going to their planned trip for the honeymoon before focusing again on her surroundings. We can drop in to visit them on our way through Lichfield, I would like that.

Arthur once again excused them saying to her, We must have our first dance as husband and wife. Her eyes glistened with the love she had for him as he took her hand and led her to the center of the hall, smiling at him she took a quick look towards Oswald then back to her husband as he placed her hands, she giggled it felt so formal. As the music started she relaxed and smiled at him leaving the giggles behind replacing them with a look of passion just for him...

As he watched the happy couple having their first dance together, he smiled thinking back to his own wedding day not so long ago and their first dance together, pulling Liza on his lap he held her tight kissing her neck, remembering back to that special night, how about a dance then after Arthur has done his stuff with his stunning bride, and dont worry i wouldnt dream of stealing any presents they are friends of ours it would never happen and i would personally kill any one that would steal from them, so Mrs Wolf drink up and get ready to be danced to death, looking at Ken he wondered if he would do the decent thing and ask someone to dance, and have some fun with one of the many fine ladies at the reception.

[Lynna]

After getting to the center of the Hall, he took a deep breath closing his eyes momentarily to capture this snapshot in his mind. It had been ages since he'd been given the opportunity to dance, their first as a couple, but even more important, their first as husband and wife. Opening his eyes, he took Lynna's hand gently in his and twirled her slowly. As she circled around to face him, he kept his eyes focused on hers. He held her a little closer than what was proper, taking advantage of the opportunity to do so in front of their guests. His hand rested lightly on her waist, his other entwined with hers as they began to glide around the room in perfect synchronization.

From This Moment On

The world receded until the only thing he could see is her. Everything he held dear was in his arms. Leaning down, he whispered in her ear: I love you my wife.

Oblivious to everyone now except her husband as they looked deep into each other eyes she was led around the floor with ease. The song chosen for their first dance as husband and wife was perfect, this was for the rest of their lives, a love that grows each day. His soft breath against her ear as he whispered, and her words whispered in reply to him As I love thee my husband deliberately close so her lips touched his ear.

The clapping of the crowd signifies the song has finally ended. Arthur couldn't even remember dancing. He had been so completely wrapped up in the moment he shared with his wife, that he hadn't noticed much of anything.

Arthur smiled and stated to the guests: This is a celebration! Join us! He signaled the entertainment to continue while Oswald was making sure the dinner was being completed for a sit-down dinner.

[Lynna]

Liza blushes as Wolf pulls her onto her lap, a shiver running through her at his soft kiss. She looks into his eyes and smiles, knowing he is thinking the same as her, about their own wedding. Trailing a finger down along his jaw, she leans forward and kisses the corner of his mouth. I would love a dance, Mr. Wolf, she tells him softly. A slight noise causes her to turn her head and her blush deepens as she realizes she had forgotten that they were still sitting at a table full of her friends. She begins to move off his lap but his arms tighten around her, pulling her back. With a slight laugh, she settles back into her husband's arms and contentedly watches the newlyweds revolve slowly about the floor. As soon as the music ends and the next song begins, she slips off his lap and takes his hand. Tugging him to his feet, she looks up at him once he stands. I believe this is our song, Mr. Wolf?

[Lynna]

Myxti smiled at Ken when Arthur and Lynna went to the floor for their dance. They looked beautiful and very happy. She was hoping that the Saltarello would be played and that she would be asked to dance it. She loved the Saltarello.

"They look beautiful!"

Just then Arthur told everyone to join in. She looked at her empty glass suddenly shy.

[Lynna]

She had seemed in a trance during the dance, seeing nothing but her beloved Arthur, the song had finished and the music had lulled to a quietness in the background. When Arthur encouraged the guests to come join them, she held onto him and looked around to see who would come. A few were starting to move, at the table near the wedding party table Lizabet was tugging on Wolf's hand , they looked as if they were going to join them so she smiled and waved them to come onto the dance floor, being newly weds themselves they would know how Arthur and Lynna felt.

The music picked up as Arthur took her in his arms, as they danced again she was smiling at him, she was so proud of her handsome husband...

As they passed the other tables they were encouraging guests to get up and join them in a dance or two before dinner was served.

[Lynna]

Ducking back into the reception, Grizelda pushed an escaped lock of hair out of her eyes and straightened her gown as her eyes swept the dance floor to light on her Cousin locked in Arthur's embrace. Not her fiancé Arthur,Gri corrects herself, her husband Arthur. And now my Cousin Arthur as well.

She'd never seen either of the pair this happy before. Sighing wistfully, the Bridesmaid finished tidying herself before stepping into the room properly to wish her Cousins her happiest regards and ask Lynna's forgiveness for her absence from the festivities. Gri had done her duties preparing the bridal suite for the couple, as well as arranging for her own gift to the couple to be unpacked in Lynna's and Arthur's room as a surprise.

Knowing Lynna's deep respect for the family history and heritage, Gri had commissioned an well-known German artist to reproduce a small portion of the Hyghlamen Roll, a heraldic roll of arms which had been completed in Cologne a few years earlier.



Hopefully Arthur shared his new wife's appreciation of such things, as the arrangements had been rather challenging to make from such a distance even with the family connections.

Gri was finding that the duties of a bridesmaid - even for her most favorite Cousin - was a rather daunting experience when the wedding party included such well-known figures. Seeing a few familiar faces in the mostly unfamiliar crowd, Gri smiled as she made her way into the room to make the assembled guests feel welcome... all the while surreptitiously trying to locate a very large glass of wine for herself.

Oh Jah, the dancing has started! Lizzy watched apprehensively, wondering if she could direct attention back to the drinks table. People were getting up in pairs, all lovey dovey in front of the whole flaming room...
Lizzy could dance, she learned on her travels when she'd joined up with a paticularly interesting group of people, problem was it wasn't the sort of dancing that goes down well in polite company. Handy when you are really broke though...she smiled at the memory of violins and bonfires, and old friends long lost to her.
More beer ... thats the thing! C'mon moose, thirsty again...and she headed off in the opposite direction to the couples making for the floor..

Moose watched as the music started and Lynna and Arthur started to dance. When they finished he appluaded along with everyone else and then turned and looked around for Dew to see if he had those beers yet.

Then the music started again and Lynna and Arthur started trying to get everyone else up to dance. Watching some of the others getting up and joining in Moose thought to himself Oh Jah, how can I aviod this

He turns to Lizzy hopeing she dosn't want to dance. He sees her looking around and then turnin to head for the bar, thinking Lizzy your a genious he turns and catches up to her, taking her hand he whisperd to her How about we have a few more drinks before we dance

Reaching the bar he pours two more beers for himself and Lizzy, hands one to her and then starts taking short nervous sips of his own beer. He had knowen there would be dancing and had not been looking foward to it at all.

[Lynna]

Lizzy grinned, thank Jah! Got out of that one! She took a real good pull on her beer, watching moose over the lip of her mug...he looked as nervous as a church mouse! She wondered if she looked as twitchy as she felt right now, it had suddenly hit her that she was actually out on a date...a genuine date... this was new territory for her, no one could accuse her of being shy or innocent, but she normally left the dating for the kind of women who got married, had kids, played happy families. it was safer that way.
Before she knew it her mug was empty again and she realised that she had had a fair amount of alcohol, and no food...better be careful, or she may end up dancing on the tables again. that would not make a good impression on such fine folk, she giggled at the thought.. and automatically accepted a refill from the barman.

[Lynna]

Taking Liza's hand he led her to the centre of the dance floor, holding her close, he started slowly moving her round the dance floor, thinking how beautiful she looked tonight, spinning her round and round the room, he moved her backwards and forwards and round again, bending her backwards then pulling her back up and kissing her long and hard, holding her close he ran his hands over her face and wonderful body, kissing her face and neck, resuming a slow dance back around the floor, he wondered why he had never danced before it had its advantages, he looked over at Arthur as he danced with his beautiful new wife, it had been a great wedding so far and they was well suited together he knew they would have a long and happy marriage, as he knew he would have with Liza, looking over at the people huddled round the drinks table, he thought of a way to get them all up dancing after the dinner.
