"Side saddle.... again," Maeve muttered as she reined in her grey gelding. Though just barely married herself, she could not nor would not fail to show her support for Lynna and Arthur at this time of what she hoped would be momentous happiness. "Once we are in Ireland, I am never riding sidesaddle again."

She stopped and allowed herself to be assisted from her saddle, patting the neck of the grey fondly. She gave quick and brief instructions to the stableboy who took the reins. "I don't know how long I am going to stay," she said quietly. "So, don't let him get too comfortable. Loosen, but do not remove his tack." She tipped the boy generously as she removed her gloves and slipped them into the saddle bag before the horse moved off.

Shaking the dust off her dress as she walked. Maeve moved to the hall, showing her invitation to the appropriate staff. Bigg was overseeing the packing of their belongs for the move to Ireland. Unexpected to most everyone, including herself, deep down she felt it was for the best. A new start for this new adventure and journey of marriage. There were too many memories, too many aspects of their respective pasts... a clean break and a new life. It's just what the doctor would have ordered.

Her eyes glanced over those gathered, hoping that she wouldn't feel too out of place. It was just so... important to her to do this. Lynna and Arthur had stood by her side during some very trying times and now to be with them in this happiness... well, it just seemed right.

A slight frown creased her forehead as she noticed Donnor with a woman who was not Rain. "Well, I missed that news," she murmured. Her spirits lifted when she saw Lizabet and Gabrielle though she felt a pang when she saw them with their husbands. Smiling her embarrassment as a servant reminded her gently that he could take her cloak, she divested herself of it immediately and wandered about for a bit, looking to see where she might be seated.

[Lynna]

Lerendus smiled as she whispered softly into his ear. Turning his head he leans close to her and whispers back, “Ich liebe dich auch,” pausing before adding, “Ein bissen.” He pulled away slightly and smiled warmly at her, drew her close with their linked arms, and kissed her softly. Suddenly became very aware that his sister was watching and blushed a slight tint of red. He cleared his throat nervously, a little embarrassed. Enough lingering or they would be late. He led the two through the castle gates, down the grand hall to the reception hall. They weaved their way through the crowd to their table. Pulling out the chairs for Smom and Eary he twisted his way across the crowded hall again to the table filled with gifts and add theirs to the growing pile.



He returned to the table and sat down between the two women, glancing anxiously up at the bride and groom's table.

While Liza went off to catch up with Ken, he wondered if the presents had arrived yet, having paid a large sum to find them in a church yard special sale and then delivered to the reception, he knew Liza had already given them presents, but as they was a special couple and good friends, he wanted to spoil them both, going outside he saw the cart pulling up to the castle, directing them to the side he helped them unload, thinking it was best to leave them outside in the lobby area, first he put the pew by the wall, thinking you can never have to many seats in ones house, beside that he put the organ for lynna to play on, in the long dark evenings ahead, adding a special present to keep Lynna safe when Arthur was away, to make her feel so not alone and missing him, job done he returned to the reception thinking he must go remark on how ravenishing Gabby was looking these days, good enough to eat in fact looking around for drink and seeing Liza still chatting to Ken, he made his way to fetch them some drinks.

Arthur and Lynna's wedding would be an event to remember! There were all types of entertainment hired for the special event. Minstrels were gathered by the gate entrance to entertain guests upon arrival; jugglers were stationed closer to the castle doors leading into the Grand Hall where the reception was to be held, and inside the Hall was the harpist from the wedding ceremony. She had been personally requested by Lynna to keep the mood of the reception romantic for all the guests invited.



Oswald was inside making sure the food and beverages were ready for the reception. He made his rounds in the Grand Hall being aware of every small detail. He knew that his Lord would have his head if everything was not perfect. Oswald had been in service to Lord Arthur for enough time to understand his need for control. Lord Arthur had made it very clear that if anything was wrong, or out of control, to resolve the issue and inform him. Arthur always needed to know what was going on. He didn't want Lynna's day to be ruined.

A boy came running into the reception, tugging at Oswald's shirt. Sir! Sir! The boy was out of breath. Sir! Oswald gave the boy a stern look, and whispered. Calm down. Take a breath. Do not alarm the guests. The boy did as instructed before speaking again. Oswald's demeanor commanded respect and obedience from the entire castle staff.

Sir, he quietly whispered, there was a problem at the castle doors. A coach driver and a stable boy were both punched by a guest! Square in the jaw! Kapow! And their face! All red! The boy had gotten a little excited with his retelling of the news that he began laughing. Oswald made a motion for the boy to stop. I understand. Is my attention required? The boy shook his head detailing that some guests had made sure the men had been taken cared of. Oswald had an inkling there would be more trouble at the reception but hoped it could be contained to not affect the newlyweds.

Arthur had arranged to take Lynna to the local park before the reception. He wanted some time with her before the reception, where most likely they would be split up thanking guests for coming, chatting, and just typical host duties. The coach driver took the carriage through the park at a slow pace, giving the couple time to spend together and admire the beauty of Coventry. A place they both had come to call home. Arthur remembered back when Lynna had contacted him. She had found her way to Oxford, Wiltshire and Arthur had made arrangements to pick her up and move her to Coventry, Stafford.

Arthur looked out of the carriage window, lacing his fingers with hers. So many memories... we have a long history, don't we? He brought her hand up to his lips to give her a soft kiss. We have been through a lot lately, and it's time for us to relax. We both deserve it, as well as some time alone. He grinned at her. If she could read his mind, she would definitely be blushing!

He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and moved closer to her. Arthur placed his hand on Lynna's cheek, and passionately kissed her. He knew their time alone was coming to an end for now, and needed to feel her lips against his. After their kiss, he gazed into her eyes, stating emphatically: I'm yours. And you are mine. He smiled at her softly, hoping she was as excited about their blessed union as he was. Looking out the window, he sighed. It's time to get to the reception. He turned towards her to make sure she had not misinterpreted his sigh. He saw that she understood his feelings. It was their party, a celebration of their marriage. It was the end of the park, but the beginning of their future. The driver turned the carriage towards the Castle.

As they had reached the doors of the Church Arthur swept her up in his arms, she automatically placed her arms around his neck hanging on tightly feeling secure and safe in the arms of the man she loved. He placed her in the carriage and climbed in after her.

Arthur! she exclaimed as she grinned at his words to their guests , What ever will they think with comments like that she slapped his arm lightly and playfully before tucking her arm in his pulling herself close to him as she gave the guests a little wave...


As the carriage had left the Church it was heading in a direction away from the Castle. Lynna wasn't questioning or complaining she just wanted to be with her husband, Husband she thought, how she had waited so long to be able to say that she couldn't wipe the smile from her face. They arrived at the entrance of the park as the carriage made its way along she took in the surroundings. The park was always beautiful no matter what time of year it was. This is lovely Arthur she smiled at him sneaking in a kiss This is just what is needed before we get to the reception, I did need to have some time alone with you, she could feel herself blushing, as she does, when she can sense the feelings that accompany Arthurs comments about the time they spend alone. It's been such a wonderful day but I have missed you terribly. She wasn't even really sure what to expect at the reception as Arthur had insisted on making most of the arrangements himself. We do have a long history My Love she said, who would of thought that one day we would be husband and wife.

He let go of her hand and placed an arm around her shoulder, placing his lips on hers and kissing her passionately, she returned his kiss feeling her body relax and surrender to his, those all so familiar reactions she had whenever she was in his arms. Do we really have to go just yet she pouted and sighed softly, before smiling knowing that they should get to the castle We have kept them waiting long enough My Love ...

The carriage turned and they were on their way to the castle now so the couple made the most of the short time left before they arrived.

Kenrich was sitting when his couisn Liza had come over he stood up and gave her a hug, it had been awhile since he had seen her, in fact it was her wedding was the last time they saw each other.

"I have been well" he said rather busy anymore between running the Stafford guard as Capt, and my time as a Councillor, keeps me on my toes" he said to her. " It was a very nice ceromony" he said with a smile to her. As then she made the comment about starting to get good at these types of thing. He laughed. " It appears i am" he said with a chuckle. "I tend to find myself at these things alot. "I couldn't tell ya Liza" he said in reference to when he was going to get married himself. "It appears im destined to live the single life, it appears i can not find any ladies who would court me or even seem interseted" he said

[Lynna]

Myxti and her cousin make their way over to Lizabet & Kenrich.

"Hi. Mind if I sit with you?"

She smiles at Kenrich before realizing her rudeness.

"I am sorry....this is my cousin, Do....Ferdindand. He's visiting from Spain and graciously escorted me so I didn't have to come alone."

She smiles akwardly.

[Lynna]

Liza smiles and raises an eyebrow at Ken's comment about destined to be alone. She knows he's a great catch and any woman would be lucky to have him, but his innate shyness seems to hamper him. She leans over and places her hand on his arm, about to tease him, when a familiar voice interrupts her. Turning, she gives Myxti a wide smile, and nods hello to her companion as they are introduced. Waving a hand at the otherwise empty table, she asks them to sit.

Please join us. Wolf is around here somewhere, she says and turns to look for her husband. As she does, she catches sight of Maeve arriving and waves to her, asking her to join them as well. She finally locates her husband. Ah of course, she laughs. At the bar. And it seems he's stocking up for all of us. At least I hope it's not all just for him, she adds with a slight laugh, seeing the many glasses he had gathered in his hands.

[Lynna]

"Good Evening Moose , I'm fine thank you , how about you ?" I ask

Turning to the Lady , I say as I bow to her

"It's a pleasure to meet you Miss , a friend of Moose , is a friend of mine"

As I hold my hand for her to shake , I say "I am Henry Dewaugh , but call me Dew , everyone else does .
Yes Moose is correct , I am in the Stafford Guard , a Knight yes but a soldier never the less , like my father before me "

Quickly glancing at Moose I smile at him and with a twinkle in my eye , I say " Yes I have brought a flask , you know me too well , my friend , but don't you think it's a bit too early to start on the hard stuff ?"

"Would you two like an Ale or a glass of Champagne or wine ?" I ask them

Myxti looks over at the bar and chuckles at all the alcohol near Wolf. As she is about to say something, Ferdinand mutters.

Ferdinand: "I could use a drink or 3. Excuse me, please."

And with that said, he left towards the bar for a drink or 12.

"Things are quite different here. Much....how do you say....more free in England. It's sometimes hard for me to get used to. But I love it, here. I'm never going back to Navarre. I think my cousin's 'business' here was to get me to go back. Now that he realizes that I won't....he's not so happy. And the fact that he can't force me to go back......well.....I think it's good for him to drink up and relax a bit. He'll be facing my father soon."

She grins and then blushes a bit as she glances over at Kenrich.

"So Lizabet, how's married life?"

[Lynna]

Moose watches as Lizzy dashes over to the table and grabs the rose bush she had bought. He was glad she had bought a present as it had completly slipped his mind, but he wasn't sure he wanted to know where it had come from. Well she was gone he quickly whispered to Dew Just got to get you off that list of Liza's now mate

As Lizzy comes back to his side he smiles at her and takes her arm in his Dew mate I am great couldn't be happier right now he said with a quick glance at Lizzy and a big smile on his face

Yes I guess your right we should atleast wait till after the speeches he looks at his empty mug Yes another ale would go down a treat thanks

The carriage made its way inside the Coventry estate. Arthur could see the Minstrels and Jugglers in the distance, and he smiled. Look! He hadn't gotten confirmation that the entertainment was going to come, and he was surprised to see them there!

Arthur could see Oswald walking outside from the doors. He took Lynna's hand in his, and as the carriage came to a stop, the door was opened by Oswald. Our guests await! Arthur smiled and kissed her one last time before getting down. He helped Lynna get out herself and together, they walked hand in hand towards the Grand Hall where the reception was being held. Oswald accompanied them as well, and began to speak to Arthur about situations that had arisen. He was quiet enough to not alarm the bride, and deliberate in his speech to Arthur.

Sir.. It appears that some guests have arrived intoxicated and prone to violence. A stable boy and coach driver were both physically attacked, but now are being taken cared of. I have increased security inside the Hall to minimize any outbursts of violence that may occur.

Arthur listened intently as they walked inside to the reception. He nodded, acknowledging everything that he was told. Lynna seemed curious, and Arthur didn't want her to overhear. Arthur shook Oswald's hand and tried to distract the conversation, Thank you for the congratulations. Lynna didn't seem too convinced that Arthur's words reflected the conversation between Oswald and him. Oswald stepped back and allowed the couple to walk inside by themselves. Arthur knew that Lynna was going to ask him what was said, and in an attempt to distract her, he picked her up in his arms. He walked inside the Grand Hall with Lynna in his arms, and broadly stated:

We're here! Let the party begin! He was laughing now at his own antics. He was usually not the life of the party! But this wasn't just any party.. it was to celebrate their marriage.

[Lynna]

Gawain looked around the room, he saw quite a few people he knew and amongst those he saw Kenrich, Liza and Myxti. He made his way over to where they were sitting.

"Hello all. Can I join you for a bit?"

[Lynna]

Liza smiles at Myxti, her glance at Ken not going unnoticed by her. Married life is... she pauses and glances at her husband, a soft look coming over her face. Is more wonderful than I ever imagined. I don't know why I waited so long. Well, yes I do. I was waiting for the right man, she finishes, looking back at Myxti, the smile still on her lips. That's the problem with being happily married though. You want everyone to enjoy that blessed state, she laughs, darting a glance between her cousin and Myxti. Moving over to place two chairs between her and Ken, she motions for Myxti and her cousin to have a seat, hoping she will choose the chair closer to Ken.

Liza's maneuverings are interrupted by the entrance of the bride and groom. She laughs at Arthur's antics, and shakes her head. Pointing to him, she looks back at Myxti. See what I mean? she asks. Marriage does wonderful things to a man. She sneaks a glance at Ken as she says this then turns in time to greet Gawain.

Gawain, my dear friend, it's been too long. Please, sit with us. That was a beautiful ceremony you did, she smiles at him. No one would ever have known it was your first.

[Lynna]

Gabby looked to Pieter and said,
"Let's see the gifts that have been brought, and ensure ours is there. I know Leith said it was delivered, I just want to make sure it is with the gifts."
Pieter smiled at his wife, knowing that him saying anyhting to console her it was there wouldn't do unless she saw for herself. Plus he was a bit interested himself in the other gifts brought by others. He got up and helped scoot out her chair and taking her arm they strolled over.

Gabby admired the gifts, some were quite beautiful. Especially the white rose bush. "Nutkin, look... that is the purest white rose I have seen. I wonder who brought it? I must find out and get a rootling for my rose garden.. Even the Regency Gardens don't have such a rose that blooms so pure a white!"
Gabby then saw it, leaned against the wall, A huge cream coloured satin ribbon bow upon it. It was a painting of a floral arrangement Gabby made from the flowers of her garden, painted by Pieter. He was such a talented artist.
Satisfied all was well, they went back to their seat. Gabby smiled and nodded greetings to those she knew. She turned as she heard an entrance, it was the newlyweds.
"Pieter, they are here!" She exclaimed excitedly.

[Lynna]

Lizzy smiled at Dew, she'd seen him at the last SG ceremony...he had kind of stood out from the crowd, not many grown men wore that particular shade in public! Yes Dew, Its good to meet you. she said.
Just then the bride and groom arrived, the Arthur, carrying Lynna, to everyones amusement. Again Lizzy was struck by the obvious honesty of their feelings for each other. It's really quite sweet was her first thought...I'm going soft, was her second.
Yes and more beer..definitely she added holding out her empty mug

[Lynna]

Myxti saw the two chairs. She wondered what her couisn might think if she chose the chair closer to a man instead of her female friend. She pondered for only a second when she chose the chair closest to Ken, but didn't sit down.

"I hear maried life is like that...when there's love. I'm really happy for you.

She smiles and that's when Gawain had approached.

"That was your first ceremony? You'd never know. You did great."

She sees the bride & groom enter and takes her seat....next to Ken. She winks at Liza.

[Lynna]

Gawain sees the bride and groom enter and smiles at Arthur's antics. He then takes a seat and he smiles at Liza and Myxti.

"Yes, it has been a while, Liza. Thank you both, very much. I was given very good advice, and I did my best to follow it. I wondered if I would feel nervous during it - I naturally did feel a bit nervous yesterday but not today, I feel fine and calm."

[Lynna]

Maeve smiled as she noticed Lizabet beckoning her over. She slipped through the gathering and after giving Liza a quick hug in greeting, turned just in time to see the bride and groom make their grand entrance.

Sitting in an empty chair, her eyes followed the happy couple. "We don't even exist at the moment," she chuckled. "They deserve every bit of happiness that they can wring out of this day and each day to come."

[Lynna]

Kenrich was sitting there when Myxti had come over with her escort, he stood slightly as the polite thing to do as she sat down. He sat back down himself

"Please join us" he said with a smile. looking over at Myxti. " I yet had the pleasure of welcoming you on to council yet" he said with a smile. The looking over as Liza made a comment about her husband being at the bar he gave alittle chuckle. Just then Myxti escort excused him self to go to the bar Kenrich gave a nod as the gentlemen got up and walked over. He turn back to the ladies his couisn and Myxti.

Just then Gawain walked and asked to join the table. He looked over and stood extended his hand to shake Gawain's "it be a pleasure for you to join us". He said He kept noticing Liza and her looks at him and Myxti, he gave a smile knowing probably what she was trying too do.

He looked back over at Myxti giving her a smile, just as the bride and groom arrived. Leaning over to Myxti. "I hope i can have a dance tonight" he asked her shyly, though a bold move for him.

As the carriage turned the corner to head towards Crater Lakes We're nearly there Love, she smiled broardly and tugged on his arm. She had spent the last week or so at the Castle with Arthur, family, Gawain and the staff as they made arrangements for the wedding, and now she was returning as Arthur's wife. This was going to be their home now and where they would start their new life. She took the opportunity to thank Arthur again for arranging the ride through the park, I'm glad we were able to take some time to be alone Arthur, thank you. She leant in and pressed her lips against his. She wasn't sure what would happen at the reception and how everyone would get along at least giving them time to chat also before they got there might give them a chance to get aquainted.

They headed up the drive and Arthur pointed out the entertainment he had orgainsed, Ohhh! They look wonderful my Love, what fun she giggled as always something else to distract her thoughts, he knows just the right thing to do.

The carriage stopped after Arthur kissed her again he jumped down and took her hand to help her down. Oswald greeted them, walking with them towards the great hall, she notices the two men as Oswald is talking to Arthur, her husband looked a little concerned and intent as his brow furrowed while he listened. Lynna was watching, though hopefully unnoticed, at the moment between the two when Arthurs face relaxed, he shook Oswalds hand and thanked him for the congratulations before taking hers and giving it a reassuring squeeze she knew then that something had occurred , but she would ask later as they were just about to enter the reception.

Again Arthur swept her up in his arms she giggled and threw her arms around his neck again, as this was becoming a regular thing for Arthur to be doing with her. She felt her cheeks blush as she felt the eyes of everyone looking their way with Arthurs spirited entrance. He carried her part way into the Hall before setting her down so she could greet some of their guests. Her arms still around his neck she gave him a lingering kiss then looking into his eyes I love you she smiled my husband. She took her arms down from around his neck taking his hand once again as she looked at where they should go. She spotted Arthur's auntie and uncle first and motioned to Arthur they should head that way There is Bri and Evan Love lets go and say hello ...

Noticing the arrival of Arthur and Lynna she makes her way across to meet them , the box in her hand.. "First let me congratulate you both it was lovely.. And second , let me apologize for being late.. The children escpially the girls were furious they weren't allowed to come to a wedding.. And last, I meant to give this to you before the wedding but as you know we were late.. The green one is a Tudor heirloom worn at all weddings and the second was a present from your brother Roh.. It seemed right for him to be here in some way.." she smiled handing Lynna the box and stepped back watching for reaction..

Wolf returned to the now crowded table, carrying a few drinks after passing them round to the mob, he handed Liza hers with a kiss, sorry i was so long i had to try a few different ales and wines to see which one was best, i saw a great silver tea set, should make a few pounds, dam shame about the engraving on it, but i am sure i can file it off a bit, i am sure they wont miss it and any way lynna will be to busy playing on the organ, i will check out the other presents later, i also saw a picture, needs further inspection, turning round he winked and smiled at gabbs, who was busy knocking back the drink, a big smile on her face which made a nice change, turning back to the other guests, he listened to the convo, drinking his drink, hoping there would be no dancing, and looking forward to a slow ride home in the carriage, wondering when to start taking bets if ken was going to dance with Myxti.

As they reached Bri and Evan she took in what Brianna was saying, It was a lovely ceremony I was so nervous even walking up the aisle with Logoth I could hardly focus on who was there, we were running very late ourselves and I was hoping the guests weren,t getting too impatient . Lynna knew the girls would of loved to have been at the wedding We'll have to make it up to the girls somehow with a little tea party or a special event so they can get all dressed up , I am sure Eary would have loved to have bought her children as well.

Bri offered Lynna the box she was holding and with a curious look to Bri she opened it. Hearing that one of the items had been a gift to Bri from her brother she took a deep breath and looked a beautiful emerald and diamond tiara

and a sparkling beautiful necklace which had been a gift to Brianna


Oh my goodness she said almost speechless as she admired them, they are beautiful she gave Arthur the box as she showed them to him and took out the tiara placing it on her head. Even though their own estate had family jewels she had never been one to adorn herself in treasures, but this was special, it meant acceptance to her by Arthurs family and his Auntie Bri had taken special effort to bring the memory of her brother Rohannon to life during such a special day for her. Her hands were shaking as she tried to do the necklace up when Arthur smiled at her and passed the box back to her to hold as he took the necklace from her hand. She felt the soft touch of his hand graze across the back of her neck sending tingles through her body as he draped the necklace around her neck and clasped it for her.

Lynna's hand came to her throat as she touched the necklace a tear in her eyes as she stepped up to Bri and hugged her tightly whispering in her ear Thank you this means so much to me , I will make sure they are returned before your departure... she said
