Ekaterine notices the warning signs of a black mood on her beloved cousins face. quickly she whispers to Nova, "dear one, could you please find a glass of Lady Brianna's fine Irish whiskey for Prince Algernon?"


She slips into the seat beside her thunderous looking cousin and lays one hand on his arm and says in a low voice: "Dearest cousin, you know well that all members of our family and indeed your friends support you truely. You are amongst friends and allies here.....remember we are celebrating friendship!" In a louder vice she points out the dear Lady Tasite expecting her first baby....child to your friend Commander Elson and points out the sneaky duo of little ones trying the eternal childhood pursuit of avoiding nannies and mothers to get a little of the magic of the grown up party. "dear cousin, it is time to lay aside your trouble for this evening and enjoy the magic of this ball and the safety that love and laughter weave to shelter us all"

Cocking one eyebrow towards Ekaterine, His Royal Highness now sighed and slumped back into his chair. 'Perhaps we should indeed enjoy having a drink.' He permitted a thin smile to grace his face. 'We do not intend to spoil your good evening, my dear.'

Eary's carriage arrived after a long journey from Sevenoaks Sussex. She looked out of the window at the grand castle that her cousins lived in and excited stepped out of the carriage once it had come to a stop. She stepped inside and looked around.

Seeing her brother, she made her way over to him and gave him a hug.
"How are you my dear brother, I have missed you!" She smiled and seeing Gina, she smiled "It is nice to see you again Gina, you look stunning." She looked around for Bri knowing she should greet her host.

Seeing Gnome's sister, Earytha, walk in, LadyGina smiled as the woman approached them. Hugging them both, she spoke to Gnome, & then turned to Gina & said,

"It is nice to see you again Gina, you look stunning."

Hugging her back, Gina replied, "Earytha, it's so nice to see you again !! You look as beautiful as ever !! How are you doing ?"

It was such a pleasant surprise to see his sister Eary, that Gnome almost broke into a run to greet her. Instead he waited for her to arrive, staying by Gina's side trying not to look too silly with his best greeting smile plastered on his face the whole time she approached.

"How are you my dear brother, I have missed you!"

Gnome replied,

I have missed you as well, dear sister, though I have been well and am resting from politics for a while ... just taking it easy as a farmer.

Though recently promoted to Evesham's Chief Mentor, so it has been a good move for me.

It is so good to see you here! I know Princess Bri will want to talk to you and I hope we can have a chance to chat!

Continuing to speak to Tasite she hears a strong voice behind her it was faintly familiar in its tone. Hearing him speak of those summer days of playing princess it could only be one person.... But it couldn't be could it? She had not seen him in what seemed like an eternity.. Slowly turning around she looks at the handsome face of the man it was definitely more chiseled than it had been as a kid.. "Well you know if your going to play you have to it right.. I see you wash your face now.. No more smudges of dirt along it.. It really was hard to make you a prince you know always being dirty" She smiles mischievously at him let out a giggle of delight rushing over to him and giving him a hug..

"How on Earth ? How did you get here? Where Have you been? And did you just happen to come on the night when I was so utterly depressed that only you knew how to bring me out of it?" a thousand questions left her lips as she looked at him hugging him again and then punching him in the arm "That's for disappearing all these years" she smiles.

Eary smiled at her brother, "That is great.. you must tell me later how your progress goes with your quest" She said with a wink.
Turning back to Gina she smiled, "I am doing well, my marriage sadly is over but I am engaged to a wonderful man, Stiker. My children are growing fast. I moved to sevenoaks and I have never been happier." She couldn't help blushing at the mentions of her fiancée.
"Well I must go greet our lovely hostess" She nodded to both of them, and began to move her way through the crowd to where she saw Bri talking to a man. Not wanting to interupt them, she took a drink and sat down while she waited for Bri to have a spare moment. She watched the people with interest, she didn't know many people here.

I see you wash your face now…no more smudges of dirt along it. It really was hard to make you a prince you know always being dirty.

It was……it is her…….he returned her boisterous hug, the years melted away.

She hasn’t changed a bit.
Neither has her pugilistic abilities, didn’t loose her right jab.

A barrage of questions, years of inquiry tumbling out in a sentence. But one word from her lips remained in his mind more than any other, ‘depressed’

Rubbing his upper arm, then taking her fist, gently opening her hand, raising it, and twirling her around once as if in mid dance.

Making his way to the bar, looking back, mouthing the word “GO” to the princess, smiles.

Looking into his eyes still the same deep eyes but a change in them as he looked at her.. Putting her hands on her hips she looked at him "Evan have you fell on your head recently? You know I never do what im told ever..." she watches as he makes his way to the bar as she turns to see Earytha walking towards her. "Eary darling how are you?"

Eary smiled and hugged her cousin. "I am doing well, the children are growing fast and I am preparing for my marriage to Stiker. How are you? "

Not having seen Eary in a while a look of shock crossed her face "Wow you are getting married .> I had no idea !! that is wonderful.. you need to bring the kids over to play with infant infantry of our house.."she giggles . "Where is your fiancee at?"

Upon the Lady Ekaterine request Nova heads towards his sister and ask where would might have put her finest Irish whiskey so that Prince Algernon might enjoy!!

Looking at Nova she smiles and points to where the bottle is and whispers to him "Tell him if he smiles i will give him back his other flask..She chuckles thinking back to the day she stole it from him. Turning her attention back to Eary.

Eary smiled, "He is currently doing something with the sussex Army, he said he'll come by if he has the time" She took a sip of her drink and look around. "I will be sure to bring the kids around soon, I am sure they would love to play with their cousin." She smiled.

"Well I do hope he will make it im sure Roh would want someone to check this chap otu before you run off and get married.. I do hope to see you and the kids soon to play."

While talking with Bri, a handsome man walk over. Tas watches as s huge smiles and her facial expression changes. Tas smiles as she watches Bri and her friend together, giggles when Bri punches him. As she watches the two of them. She see a young lady walking up to speak with Bri.

As she sits quietly with her mother and niece, a wave of exhaustion washes over her as her recent travel catches up with her. Not wanting to leave, she decides to just sit and sip some wine as she keeps her family company and smiles as she sees her friends enjoying themselves. Now this was what friendship was all about.

Tas sees Smom looking very tired. Walking over to her she pulls up a seat. 'Smom you have been going none stop. I don't think anyone would be upset dear if you go home and get some rest but that is all up to you. smiling. "How is my goddaughter..... Is she growing.....I really need to get back to see her. She might get upset with this big bump in the way. Tas chuckles

Smiling and giggling at what her friend Tasite says, as she joins them "Tasite I am enjoying myself. I am tired but seeing people happy and together is a boost my spirit needs more than my body needs rest." pausing to sip her wine "As for your goddaughter, Gilly is growing so fast it seems, I am almost afraid to blink or she will be telling me she is betrothed." looking before placing my hand gently on Tasite's tummy "I, for one, can't wait to meet this little one of yours. I am sure he or she will be one of Gilly and Rohnan's closest friends as you are mine. Did I see Elson here a bit ago? Is he feeling better? I heard he was a bit under the weather. I hope it will not spread in Penrith, I have just rushed home as my wet nurse is ill. Lets hope this winters illness passes with only minor impact on our new home."

[Tasite]

"Good and yes you are right seeing good friends happy and together would and should boots anyones spirit." Giggling"I hope not, I don't to miss her first anything or her brothers either." Looking at her tummy she smiling. "I can't wait either. I'm starting to feel look he or she will be more like their dad with all the moving and kicking that going on....Friend yes or closer.... Yes you saw him he went to speak to some of his men and the regent. looking around the room "He getting better slowly I just hope he doesn't over do it, but you know him he will not let anything keep him down."

Looking at Tasite she nods "Yes Elson is a stubborn one, reminds me of myself in that regard. We will just have to find him and get him to come sit over here. I would not mind keeping him company while we both rest in our chairs. I would like to pick his mind a bit about trading and can think of no one better to teach me." she drinks a bit more of her wine "But I am being rude here." looking at the others at her table "Mother you remember Tasite, maybe later she might drag Nova over to meet you. It is rare to see him at a social function. Something I am hoping is changing now. And Mini what a sweet puppy you gave Tas earlier."

[Tasite]

MiniPhoenix smiled to Auntie Smom. "Yes, I know Tasite will be a good mummy to the little stray pup. I can't wait until Tasite's own little one comes into the world. I bet that babe is kicking hard now. Auntie Tasite is probably counting the days until she doesn't have her tummy kicked any more."

[Tasite]

Far for the table, Elson was lying on 3 chairs and snoring until he heard someone mention his name.

"Who calling me?" he mumbles to himself.

Smiling and still looking around the room "Yes we will have to get him so sit still for a bit. Your right you are just as stubborn. giggling "you want to learn to be a trader well well wonders never stop." chucking "Yes he is a good teacher and you would be a great at it. Ah there he is"[b] as she spot her loving husband sleeping. Giggling "Excuse me while I check on him and I will bring him here if he feels up to it."

Walking over to Elson, Tasite kneels down and kisses him on the cheek. Whispering " Honey, I love you. Do you need me to help you to our room or do you feel up to talking to Smom about trading."

[Tasite]

Turning to Smom, Richgrams says:
I doubt you'll learn about trading from Elson tonight. Tas may have to put him to bed.
I hope she does bring Nova over, as I'd like to meet him in person.
