Following the young man to the parlour Tasite and Elson takes the sits by the fire. "Thank you, we are find just need to get warm and for me to settle my stomach a bit." No thank you the tea is just fine.

It was cold and the ride from Appleby to Penrith had been uneventful, the army’s moral was high though; they had won before the enemy even dared to face them. He was glad lives had been spared, and yet there was a pang of regret there too…he had not managed to fight for England in the battle outside Birmingham, duty as the mayor had reigned him in and he had missed yet another chance with NNGO fleeing.

His thoughts had been on the battle that hadn't taken place when the orders were received; no drills, they were free to do as they pleased for the day. He had roamed around the Northern towns on the way to Cumberland, the markets were inflated and he thought it was good for him, meant he could eat. A smirk on his face, he entered the town still thinking how he had shamelessly sold the knives he was carrying for more than their worth so he could take care of his expenses, being away from his property was hard, especially for so long.

Deciding he needed a good meal and a warm bath, he headed into town...he'd heard of Greystoke Castle. Word was out that the regent had granted the castle to Brianna, he could see if she was hospitable enough. He stopped at an Inn to warm himself with a tankard or two then, asking directions, he headed towards the Castle. Breaking Krest into a trot, he was there before nightfall. The guards stopped him, upon identification; he was announced to the Lord and Lady of the house. The Earl certainly looked like he could do with a wash, thought the stable boy as he took Krest to the stables, the poor stallion needs tending as well…

[Tasite]

The yound page who had been tending to the needs of the Lord and Lady mings horse smiled and took the horse from him "The princess should be in the parlour Lord Grip, Lady Tasite and General Elson have also just arrived she will be most pleased to see you as well." He ties the horse down for a minute and goes to the door to open it for him bowing as he did so. "Straight through these doors and the third door on the right is the parlour your lordship"..


The Princess Strolled down the stairs with Collen in her arms smiling at the thought of her vistors she hadn't had many visitors since moving here and it was a bit lonely definately. Seeing the door open she peered curiously as she opened the door to the parlour wondering who was on the other side of the door.

[Tasite]

He was getting good at following instructions, he noted as he headed to the parlour, cleaning the sole of his boots on grass before he ever entered the building. Wondering what the maids will think when they have to clean the floors after him; he shook his head slightly at himself, he was a mess, and he certainly was carrying some mud in his boots still.

He was in the parlour moments later, too tired to observe much of the splendour; he wondered how long it will take for him to find a bed while he stood in front of the fire. Turning when his hands felt a little warm, he intended on doing the same for his back when he saw someone peek around the door, tis your own house, m'lady, though this intruder seems to have wandered far to get here... Smiling at Brianna, and the little one in her arms, he thought he'd better keep his distance, the winter roads had had their affect on him, he looked unshaven and while the hair looked combed, they were windswept, the small bag he carried was lying close to his feet and he had not even taken time off from his warming up to take his cloak off...

[Tasite]

Crinkling her nose as she sees Grip walk through the door "Well Well look what the cat drug in. I see that Collen drug you here behind his horse by the looks off it." she chuckles Looking as the maid passes her eyes wide open "Gretchen Dear do you think you could lead Grip up to him and Kyley's room and have a bath drawn for him in his suites so he may clean up.. Also have the kitchen prepare a good meal by the looks of it he is starving and Kyley will kill me if I cook for him and cause his early death,"She smiles at Grip and gives him a wink.

"Would you like a drink before you get cleaned up perhaps something to warm up your old bones.Laughing hard.

[Tasite]

Roh was informed they had guests, he had to ask who. At that very moment he missed Otto terribly, for Otto would have told him right off. The maid informed him Grip Mallett had arrived. Roh quickly got up from his desk and hurried to the front room.

Seeing his wife already greeting him, Roh slowed his pace and with a big warm smile offered his hand to Grip.

"Welcome to Greystoke. It is good to see you! After you get settled we will bring the rest of the children down. They would be happy to see you."

[Tasite]

Smiling as she felt the brush of her husband pass her and the cool calming sound of his voice she snuggles up next to him "Darling Elson and Tas are in the parlour as well my love." she rock Collen in her arms as he coo's seeing his daddy and kicks his legs.

[Tasite]

Looking over to the other corner, Roh sees Elson and Tasite. Giving a small bow he says, "Welcome to Greystoke. I do hope you enjoy your stay. Please make yourselves at home and don't mind random charges from the boys playing knights." Roh laughed lightly.

[Tasite]

Seeing the door open, and Grip walking in. They watches as he heads straight for the fire to warm up has they did. "Hello Grip hope your trip with General Collen is going well." Before he could speak the door opens again.. and Princess Brianna inter the room with Collen in her arms.. " Hello dear we happy to see you are well." “Oh my goodness!” Look how the little man has grown since that wedding. What are you feeding him dear?

Thank you Rohannon. "No I never mind watching kids playing. Hey maybe they can give Elson some tips on being a General." She looks and Elson then giggles just kidding dear. " Really I think children are what makes a home special." Thank you for inviting us to share in your wonderful home.

[Tasite]

He hadn’t realized there were others in the room as well, uhh...hello, he said, to the lady and then realized General Elson was there too. He saluted rather smartly even in his ragged state, Good to see you sir...m'lady as he realized that salute would have resulted in more mud on the floor. Oh well... he thought, it could not be helped. Smiling at Brianna's comment, he nodded slightly, taking it all in his stride as he realized he was ill equipped to offer as nicely worded retorts in front of others lest they start to think he was really arguing with the lady. It always took him a while to get used to new people and he had only seen Mrs. General a few times, though they had never conversed.

Warmly shaking Lord Von Liechtenstein by the hand, Good to see you, my friend, he said adding slowly, examining his hand ...it looks rather clean, and smiled a little amused at his own state. I think I will take up your wife’s offer though; I should wash before I am fit to be in company. My apologies for intruding in such a state, the Inns are never as good as the warmth of a home…and camps outside of town are no comparison at all, especially in this soggy cold… He glanced at the fire before he turned to the company again and said …and I felt if I did not speak now, I will forget how to use my tongue…a mere matter of my shortcomings in socializing. With a grin he shrugged slightly and said, Please excuse me, slinging his bag over his shoulder, he waited for Gretchen to lead the way, wondering if he would survive a warm bath or if it would make him too drowsy.

[Tasite]

Gretchen helping Grip with his bag "This way your grace I will help you up stairs with your stuff and your bath is drawn." she smiles warmly and walks up the stairs waiting for him to join her.

[Tasite]

The warm bath was very welcome, the room still took a bit to warm but then again, he wasn’t awake to notice the fire crackle and warm the room. Laying diagonally on his stomach, Grip was asleep within minutes, I will be polite tomorrow… was his last thought before he dozed off, he knew it was not nice to fall asleep when they probably expected him down when he had washed up, but the warm bath had drained him of all the energy, sleep was the only thing on his mind as he collapsed on the bed with a pillow half lying under his head and the other half pressed to his chest. It was late into the night when he woke briefly and pulled the covers over him before he dozed again, smiling as he dreamt of his little angel telling Kyley, momee eat!!

[Tasite]

Thinking to herself that a bath would be wonderful. Tasite was about to speak to Elson when she notice how pale he is starting to look. "Dear are you ok."

Standing just for min to catch her breath, she looks back at Elson again. Taken a few steps backwards so that she was in front of him again. Gently touching his forehead, "Oh Dear your burning up."

Not sure of what to do she looks at Brianna. "Should we send for someone to look at him."

[Tasite]

looking at Elson all flushed and pail she sent for the servants to help him up stairs.. "Get him to bed and fetch a doctor for him." She turns to Tasite looking at her "Dear perhaps you should stay away from him till we find out what is wrong if he is getting ill."

[Tasite]

Watching as everyone tended to Elson, Tasite started to worry. Hearing Brianna speaking. She frowns slightly but had to think of their child health first. Looking back at Brianna "Ok, I will do it until we talk to the doctor."

[Tasite]

A long journey from Reading to Penrith had made a well know strong man in England fall sick. He feels weak and sleepy. Maybe the age have catch up make him relies that he can’t always remain as strong as before.

Notice that many has come to visit him, and his beloved wife Tasite is very worry about him, he hold her hand and try to comfort her

“Don’t worry, my love. I am fine. I think I just caught a flu, that all” *Cough* and speak softy

He turn to those that come and visit him “Thank for coming, I am fine. Only a few days of rest and I will be as strong as a bull.” *Cough*

[Tasite]

A messenger arrives from Scotland and delivers to the door a letter for Rohannon. The messenger is invited to have a bit of food before departing and is directed to the kitchens.

The servant enters the receiving room, bows and offers the letter to Rohannon. Taking it with a nod, Roh recognizes the handwriting of the address and tears it open.

Rohannon,

Hope all is well with you. I took a break and went into the Highlands for many a month, to get away from the Political drama that has become Scotland. I have returned...and its a bit better, yet even more confusing to a simple rebel like myself.

I'm currently in Whithorn, yet i am thinking about heading to Wigtown...who knows. Hug Brianna for me.

"Bri!!! Look!!! It is a letter from Serdan!!" Roh jumps around and makes a little whoop, it is good to have heard from his best friend.

[Tasite]

After speaking to the guests a bit more, ensuring their comfort, Roh heads up to his study to write back to his friend Serdan.
Settiling at his desk, Roh takes out the good parchment, smoothing it and then with a fresh sharp quill writes.

After watching everyone tending to Elson and the Princess telling her to stay back. Tasite decided to walk the castle and its grounds. Realizing that it might be to cold she decides to take a nap after the long journey.

Heading to the adjoining room. Tasite finds a cozy lounge chair and relaxes for bit.

[Tasite]

After the servants had organized everything and made sure all was good she smiles and makes her way into the office to see her husband.. Looking over his shoulder she reads the letter he receives and catches a few pieces of what he is writing. "So all is well?""

Looking up the door of the office burst open as the kids walked in bundled in there jackets and gloves looking like fat little turkeys all snuggled up "Momma Pappa , Gretchy take snow.. We play snow ... Come Come come play snow to." she smiles as Keiron yells at them.

"Gives us a bit my darling son daddy is busy perhaps in a minute.. Cousin Tas is out on the grounds perhaps you can talk her into it.. But be careful with her she is caring your new baby cousin." She smiles and watches them waddle out fo the room turning back to her husband,

Keiron shouts back "Awight Momma we be cawful.

[Tasite]

Rapping tightly in her cloak, she moves about the grounds taking in the fresh air. Looking around she thinks how beautiful it must looking in the Spring, Summer and even the Fall.

Heading to the stable to check on Wildfire and Layla. When Tasite makes it to the door, Layla jumps up on her. Hey there my friend how are you. she ask. Are you enjoying your new home. She been wonderful, even help me hunt some. Tasite look at the young man. Thank you for taking care of her. I would be lost with out her. She save my life and we have never be apart since. I was surpise you are not afriad of her since she a wolf, but she is very tame. The people in Reading had her very spoiled.

Moving to Wildfire. You miss me boy, as she rubs his mane.

[Tasite]

Finishing a bit of paperwork, Roh looks up to see the kids ready to go out and play. He smiles, but says nothing, as Bri is explaining to them.

After a few moments, he gets up and grabs the great coat, shirking over his shoulders and holds his hand out to his wife. "Shall we? This will be interesting, watching them play in the snow."

Roh lead his wife downstairs and out into the walled private garden. Roh preferred having the children play there. With 5 of them running about, one could lose track of one.. and the pond was dangerous. None of them knew how to swim yet, though Roh knew that would change in the summertime.

[Tasite]

Smiling with a childish grin she takes his hand as she grabs her coat and gloves and heads out in the backgrounds.. Watching the kids run and fall in the snow but giggling. The girls throwing it in the air and the boys kicking it around. With a mischievous smile she picked up some snow and making a quick snow ball and hitting roh with it.. "And that boys is what snow is good for" She chuckles and runs behind a near by tree..
Perparind a few more just incase..

[Tasite]

Roh laughed and brushed the snow off, watching his wife duck behind a tree.
"Well, you said, boys.. so girls! Anna , Aiyanna... help defend Papa!" The girls looked at him, Anna even raising an eyebrow, just like her father would.

Roh made a snowball and threw it. It hit the tree Bri was standing at, sending an explosion of snow into the air. Calwin picked up on it and tosed a handful of snow at Aiyanna, it landed on her head. Her sister being attacked, Anna decided to get involved. Taking a handful of snow, then bending over and get a armful, she toddled over to Calwin and tossed it up onto him.

[Tasite]

Giggling madly at the kids as they laughed and threw snow she helped Keagon and Keiron make good snow balls.. Walking up to her husband sweetly she laughs and kisses him and wraps her arms around him and then smashes a snowball in his face gently laughing madly knowing she is in for it but having so much fun it didn't matter.
