jparsons16 enters the well-furnished parlor. He relaxes and says, "May I have a seat?" Then he sits down and begins his story.

I had a long journey. It took over two weeks. I went through picturesque farms and thriving villages. Many people were willing to offer me food and drinks. I am impressed by the hospitality of the people of England.

Our county was recently at war. Now, life is almost back to normal. The rebels are in prison or waiting for trial. Peace has been restored to our county.

I am excited about being in Cumberland. Cumberland is well known for its high prestige! I also am happy to have the chance to talk to you.

[Tasite]

She smiles "Please do have a seat and please have a drink. What would you like to drink?"

[Tasite]

Tasite sits next to Brianna and quietly listens to them talk.

jparsons16 sits down. He thanks his kind hostess. He says, "May I please have some beer?"

Looking around the bar she tilts her head "Im not sure we have any ale in the house sir..I am sorry i most have some greman liquor and a few various other things." She smiles looking at the maid "Do we have any ale in the house?"

the maid curstied "I do not believe so your majesty but I will go and check for you my lady." Bowing out of the room she runs off to look.

[Tasite]

Turning to the other maid still left in the room...."Talk to Martha she can get some of Elson beer he keeps in his study."

Looking back at Brianna the Jparson ... "Well you know the General he as to have his ale every now and then." as she giggle slightly

After a bit Martha walks into the room with a tray of Ale for the guest and a bottle wine. Walking over to the Princess she sits tray next to her and the guest. "Here you go your majesty I hope you don't mind I brought Ale and nice bottle of Wine just encase M'ladies wanted something different"

"Thank you Martha your a lifesaver as always."

"If you need anything else I will be with Marius and Collen" Bowing she turns and leaves the room.

jparsons16 tastes the ale in front of him. It is an excellent brew of ale, with excellent flavor. He then pours himself a glass of wine. He tastes it... and it is the best wine he has ever had. He says to his hostesses, Princess Brianna and Lady Tasite, "Thank you for your hospitality. I think I have caused you to have a bit of an inconvenience. But you have provided me with some wonderful drinks."

Kind sir! Never an inconvenience to welcome new friends into our home. Please, have a seat. And WELCOME to Penrith my GOOD AND EXCELLENT FRIEND! I am Evan de Balboa, sir.
Evan offers the gentleman his hand
And I do not believe we have been introduced…..and you are? And from whence you hail kind sir?
Taking a seat across from the gentleman, next to his beloved Brianna.
Looking about the room to be certain the children were not present before bringing up the subject matter previously mentioned by the gentleman.
You had mentioned a quite unpleasant matter, war in your county sir……with whom?

Smiling at her husband she looks at him and then turning her attention back to the stranger.. Placing her hand in her husband the other one light on her lap. Taking a sip of her drink and then squeezing her husbands hand lightly.

The kids followed by the nannies carrying Collen enter the parlour "My lady I' m sorry for the interuption but the children couldn't wait any longer to give their presents to Lord Evan."

Giggling she smiles and nods "Ewan, Happy fathers day " handing him a present. They giggle and un wrap the present and sit it before him.



"Mama isn't a litle small for Ewan? We already have ours." the look at it curiuosly..

"Ohh im sure your step father will find a use for it in the future" she giggles

My lady I’m sorryfor the interruption but the children couldn’t wait any longer to give their presents to Lord Evan

Looking at the assemblage of care takers, smiling at them and his dear sons and daughters.
Ladies, my names Evan, not Lord, not sir. I work for a living in the fields, on ranches, in mines, on lakes and rivers. So, please. No more ‘Lord’ in front of my name. OK ladies. Evan will do. It’s my birth name so please, it will do my dears.

Accepting the gift from his children, kneeling giving each a big bear hug in turn. Looking down at the bonnet, then back to his beloved Brianna, smiling. Picking up the delicate piece of handwork.
OH MY! Would you look at the fancy handwork
Turning it over gently in his hands.
Untying it.
Placing it on his head.
It's perfect for going around town in. Don't you think?
Turning towards the children.
Sticking his thumb in his mouth.
Ana….how do I look?

The children giggling as he puts the bonnet on "Ewan you look silly. But it makes you wook vewy pwetty." she falls over laughing..

Looking at her husband she laughs at him and kisses his cheek "Very lovely my dear. It looks quit fetching on you.. " giggling.

Evan’s mind instantly returns its attention to the gentleman in the room, remembering what is important whilst being silly with his daughters and sons.
Removing the bonnet, pouring himself a short ale, handing the bonnet to Brianna, a kiss upon her cheek and a quick whispered exchange of information.
Evan takes a draw of ale, looking appreciatively into the mug, and then towards Tasite
If this is the Ale Elson prefers Then raising his mug, adding with a smile and a wink Then, My dear Tas he’s welcome here anytime
Evan’s attention returns once more to the gentleman.
Sir, my wife tells me you are the Ambassador from Cornwall. How long will you be staying in our town sir?

[Tasite]

jparsons replies, "Thank you for making me feel comfortable. So far, I have enjoyed my stay in Cumberland. I plan on staying until Countess Eraine recalls me. So, I am here indefinitely. I hope to be able to be in Cumberland for a long time."

[Tasite]

Looking around she smiles "Ohh how lovely I do hope you will enjoy your stay here.. As knight of the Phoenix I offer you room here sir if you like.. To keep you from the nights at the inn.. I have a room upstairs or if you prefer quiet there is the guard house as well it is quit large." she chuckles thinking about how a single man would manage around a horde of nosey children.

a letter and parcel arrives from Ireland

Dearest Bri and Evan,

I thought I should write you before the invitations are sent out so that you are not completely floored to find yourselves invited to something you knew nothing about. Forgive me if I'm not making too much sense, I'm still so excited I can hardly hold the quill steady.I am going to be married July 20.

Castillo Macale asked me to marry him and I swear I haven't heard a sweeter question or felt this way ever. He is the sweetest most wonderful.... I did not think it possible to be this in love, but it is and I couldn't be happier.He is everything I could ever want and need. And yes Evan, he makes me smile and treats me like a princess. He's even promised to claim the babe....

OH!

Yes, while you are probably still in shock over the fast paced wedding, I should let you know, I am expecting as well. Blinded by a charming smile, a cute kilt and an accent, I let my guard down while still in Scotland. Low and behold, six months later I seem to have an expanding waistline and a terrible craving for berries and jerky. Cas is wonderful about it and everyone in town has been so sweet. The only thing I fear is that once born the wee one will be spoiled rotten. I really can't wait.

I think that is about it for news from Ireland. I'm still mayor, my 5th term starting soon. I love my town and and proud to be their mayor.

I've sent a package with a bottle of Irish whiskey for Evan, a beautiful shawl made by one of our towns fine weavers for you Bri. And of course a box of sweets for the little ones.

I hope my letter finds you all well and smiling. I would love to have you here for my wedding.... I'm getting married!! Wow, that sounds so perfect.

"You are quit welcome.. Its always nice to have more around the house.. IF I were you I would stay away from the west wing that is were the nursery is and its a bit nosey at all times there .." She chuckles squeezing her husband hand "I will have the room prepared in the East wing for you .."

Turning to she looks at the maid as she nods and leaves the room running off to make sure the room is prepared.

Oh!.....pay no attention to her Ambassador Evan adds with a wink to his beloved wife.There is NO better place to be then the West wing for amusement and an escape from the worries of the world.
Turning his head towards the door, hearing his children playing in the hallway, a beaming smile dawns upon Evan’s features….then leaning in his chair towards the Ambassador
For after all sir, you and I know that all that separates us from the little ones in here pointing to his heart is our height.
Turning his head once again, his attention drawn by something spoken by one of the small ones.

A package brought in by one of the maids catches Evan's attention......

Taking the note from the maid she opens it slowly glancing across it quickly a shocked look crossed her face and then a smile.. Shaking her head she hands the letter to her husband "Here my love" kissing his cheek softly..

"So sir shall we get you settled and rested for dinner? Or would you prefer a quick look around the grounds?" she smiles taking her seat next to her husband.. Taking a deep breath trying to shake a feeling of nausea..

Realizing she had been in a small daze while looking out the window. Tasite brings her attention back to the room and everyone there. Listening to Evan speak she smile on how much he loves Bri and the children. That makes her very happy.

"Ambassador might I suggest the gardens they are beautiful and it's very peaceful..that is you want to walk before dinner."

[Tasite]

Listening to their banter was very pleasant and relaxing.

"I think a walk in the garden sounds wonderful."

[Tasite]

"Great you will love the gardens...the sweet aroma of the flowers and the breeze from the lake is just breath taken and relaxing. Upon your return there will be a hot bath waiting, so that you may wash before dinner..that is if I'm not being to forward here." she smiles

Excusing herself from the room she makes her way up the stairs her stomach bothering her more and more... She shakes it off and goes to the room the servants had perpared for the quest.. Looking around the room she nodded that it would work ...




Walking down back to the parlour grabbing a few crackers on her way nibbling them quickly finshing them as she entered the room.. "Sir it seems your room is ready its up the stairs to the right ,follow the hall to the end and its the very last room to the left.. Never been in there but it seems very cozy ... IF you wish a fire started please do let the page know i have sent him to see to your needs.." she smiles taking her seat back next to her husband squeezing his hand..
