A knight had come to the castle. He was in a hurry. He take a big breath and speak to the guard near the gate.

"My name is Mac Ming. I am General Elson retainer. I need to speak to my mistress, Lady Tasite. This is urgent."

The guard tell a maid who just walk by and asked her to lead Mac Ming to see Lady Tasite.

[Tasite]

Tasite was looking for her son when the Martha approached her...

Excuse me Milady but this gentleman is here to speak with you.

Turing she recognized the gentleman entering the room from Sir Elmix and Lady Mini Degas wedding. Thank you Martha, I can take it from here.... Well we meet again it's Mac Ming isn't it. How can I help you.

[Tasite]

**Bow to Lady Tasite**

"Lady Tasite, I had a bad news for you. Master Elson suffer a heart attack while attending Gen Elmix wedding . He is now in coma. I had send him to a secret place and get a priest to heal him. This news had not being know bu anyone else as this may cause a shock to public.

My lady, what you want me to do?"

[Tasite]

Tasite steady herself after listen to him. Not sure what to think or why he would not come home Tas decide she wouldn't come unglued... Mac Ming, for coming to me and informing me of my husband condition you have my gratitude. As for what you should do... Return to my husband side and if there is any change please be quick and inform me. As for me, I will remain here for our child sake.

[Tasite]

"Noted, my lady. Do rest assure that I will take good care of Master and keep you up to date of his condition.

I must leave now, my lady. Please take care of yourself and may Jah bless you and the family"

[Tasite]

Watching him leave Tas quickly took a sit in the chair next to the window. Gazing out the window not really noticing anything. When she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Milady are you Ok?

Looking up she could see Martha was worried about her. Smiling Yes Martha, I will be sooner or later. Thank you for caring... Did you find Marius yet.

Yes, he is in the stable with one of your Brother Nova.

Nova home, great I hope he can help me keep Marius very busy so that he will not worry about his dad. Martha see if you can get the maids to prepare Nova room for him. Thank you

[Tasite]

After return to his Master, there is no sign of Elson's recover and wake up. The priest had advised Mac Ming that there is a rumor saying that a doctor from the East was in land. He super skill had heal many illness and it worth trying.

Mac Ming took the advice and he started to get ready for the travel. While packing, he found a letter written by his Master and read it.

My Dearest Tasite

By the time you read this letter, I may have gone to a place where my ancestors was born and die.

Though we have been apart these months, I always believed that life would bring us back together. That hope was comfort for me out here without you and our son and it gave me the patience to wait.

However, as time has passed, it is pretty clear that my illness will not let that dream become a reality. I appear to not be showing any improvement but to become weaker day by day.

My hope that destiny would fix everything and bring us back together meant that I never really had to say goodbye. Your entering into my life breathed life into me. It gave me an excitement for each new day and I looked forward with anticipation to each time I saw you.

In all of life, I have never really felt so at peace as when I was in your arms. I was enthralled by the beauty of your smile, bewitched by the twinkle in your eyes and overcome by the passion of your kisses. My dearest you certainly had and affect on me.

But fate had sadden me, and I think it is really time for me to say goodbye to you my only beloved wife. Please take care of our son, and if you need help, you can always go and look for my brother John Ming.

I'm not sure what to say to ease your pain but I do know this, I will take your love with me, and that my family image will burn in my heart no matter where my illness takes me.

I want you to remember our journey as something beautiful full of happiness and love.

Knowing that this letter was written something ago, but Master Elson didn't had the courage or willing to give this letter to Lady Tasite.

Looking at the condition of his Master and the journey that they have to take, Mac Ming decided to send this letter on his master behalf.

He took a pigeon and tie the letter with his master wedding ring on her feet. He threw the pigeon into the sky and watch her flew away. His tears started to drop down.

[Tasite]

Tasite was sitting in the family room looking out at Marius and Nova headed towards the manor. Just as she was turning to go greet them something flying towards the window caught her eye.

A pigeon landed on the window next to her... "Now that's strange" she thought loudly. Elson and his brother were trying to train them to send letters to each other, but she hadn't seen John since the wedding. Tas moved closer when something caught her eye. It was tied to the bird's leg. Reaching out, she takes the pigeon in her hands removing the note and ring. That when Tas's heart dropped. She knew her husband would never remove his wedding ring. Not freely, it was the one thing he said he would never remove in life. Tas released the pigeon and sat back down. Taken some deep breaths she started to read the letter.

It was only a moment when she realizing he wasn't coming back to them. That when teardrops started falling. She gripped the ring tightly, looking out at her son and brother still moving towards the castle. That was when she wondered how she would tell their son about his father.

[Tasite]

Hearing his nephew laughter Nova bends down and picks up Marius.. Giving a slight boost into the air he places him on his shoulder" You ready to go and have some fun" he ask as he start off toward the main building..

[Tasite]

Martha slowly walks into the room picking up the letter she reads it. With a heavy heart she place the letter in the desk drawer for later. Going to the kitchen Martha returns with something in her hand.

Excuse me Milady as Martha touch her shoulder. Here you goas she hands Tasite a wet cloth. M'lady... I'm sorry for your loss but I'm sure you don't want your son to see you like this at least not right now, but if there is anything I can get you or do for you before your son get to the house. I let me help.

[Tasite]

With the assistance of Martha and staff Tasite went through the manor getting things ready for her nephew first visit, and their travels with him when he departs.

I don't know why I'm nervousas she tried to laugh while talking to her dear friend. You know I just want everything to be right for his first visit to Cumberland. As she looks around Marius room Tasite frowns.... Now where is that son of mineas she continue to search his room. Martha have one of the staff members get Marius things pack and ready for the trip please.

Now let think we need to go see what the cook will be serving that week.

[Tasite]

Arthur arrived in Cumberland after a long, long, long time. He traveled to Greystoke, where his aunt would be waiting for him. He had heard there was some issues between her and Elson, and he wanted to comfort her as best he could.

Arriving in front of the castle, he dismounted from his horse. He came up to the door and knocked with force. He waited to be greeted by his family. He'd missed them very much.

[Tasite]

Tasite was checking to make sure all was in order for her nephew visit when she heard a knock at the door. Tas watch as one butler headed for the door. I'll get it she said with a smile just make sure his bags get to his room. The butler bow and waited for her to open the door.

Opening the door Tas smile when she saw her nephew standing there... Well it about time as she gave him a big hug then once over to make sure nothing was out of place...well if you knew her, you knew she loves her family and would hunt down anyone that cause them harm. Then she punches his arm softly.It about time you got here. You had me worried about youtapping her foot. What do you have to say for yourself? Her question should be funny since she was a little younger than he was.

[Tasite]

He stood there, looking down at his boots when the door opened. Looking up he saw it was his aunt. Well, I got caught up in Lancaster. Had to finish a trade and everything.. You are lucky I got here when I did. It seems there is trouble brewing about! He hugged her tightly and walked inside with her. Where is M&M? I haven't seen him in a while. Lynna wanted me to give you both a hug for her.

Looking at the upkeep of the castle, he was impressed. When he'd requested she care for the castle while Brianna was away, he didn't know if she would be up to the task. Tasite was very humble and not used to the fancyness of castles and balls. He looked around seeing a painting of Brianna and the family, and smiled. He missed them but they sent letters regularly and he knew he didn't have to worry about them. I am going to take you all away from here for a time. You need the fresh air away from the responsibilities and duties. We will have fun south. He looked around hoping to see his uncle Nova, but didn't see him. Where is that uncle of mine? He watched as the servants took his bags and disappeared upstairs. He'd find out later what room he would be staying in.

As she watch him moving about the castle she smiles hoping he liked everything. If he knew how long it took to get new staff he would laugh but she knew would give them a once over before they left. I had a feeling you would be looking for him so I sent one of the staff to have his nanny bring him down. Looking about the place with Arthur, Tas smiles Marius gets a little lonely without Bri, Evan and the kids around so he drive the staff up the wall but they say not a word.


When she heard him say"I am going to take you all away from here for a time. You need the fresh air away from the responsibilities and duties. We will have fun south." With everything that's going on with Elson. I really need a break. Thank you hun. We can't wait. Fresh air, new scenery that sound wonderful. I know if I have to sit here any longer I was going to go crazy.

Where is that uncle of mine? Arthur ask. Nova is in his room, or at least I hope he is. He and his traveling buddy have been scaring the staff. I yell but you know Nova he just don't listen some time she giggles. I keep tell him good help is hard to find, but it fallen on deaf ears with those two.

[Tasite]

Arthur's eyes opened in shock. Nova, sounds like Donnor! They both think that hiring staff is easy. It is apparent that they have never had the responsibility of employing people.

They continued speaking for a while longer, and Arthur mentioned being hungry. Let's go talk over some food. I'm sure that the nanny will bring M&M to the kitchen when they come down.

[Tasite]

Food..Nephew you said but a word... As Tasite lead him to the informal dining area...

I hope you don't mind but I didn't like eating in the big dining area all the time. Beside I couldn't sit next to my son. So I had the staff make me a small dining area for family so that we could enjoy a good meal, but not be bother with all the formal things when we are not with guest. As they enter the room the servants move to get their seats for them as the staff brought in the food.

Is the food ready... as he came running into to the room. Seeing Arthur made Marius scream again and jump up and down. I'm ready to go Arthieover and over till he saw the look on his mother face. Sorry Mama, as he quickly takes his seat. Cousin Arthie, Uncle Nova is here are you going to scold him to like Mama does.

[Tasite]

Arthur was led into the informal dining area, and he smiled. This is perfect. He said to his aunt. Watching all the food come pouring out of the kitchen, he grinned. Oh, I am famished! Not sure if I can eat all of this, but I can definitely try everything once. He looked around the room. Now where is M&M? He barely had time to get it out before the young boy ran into the room yelling for his mother.

We're leaving soon, Arthur winked at him. We must stay for a few days, but after that... on the road we go! Now promise me, you'll behave. Otherwise, you'll have to stay! Arthur's hand brushed through the boy's head of hair. I don't want to leave you, but if you can't behave on the trip, we will have to keep you home.

He took a seat next to M&M, and served him some food. We gotta eat. After, I'll take you down to the park. M&M reminded him so much of William... and then his thoughts focused on Lynna. How he missed her.. He sighed inwardly. He had hoped she could come, but she was a councilor and a mayor. She was very busy with her duties, and could not leave Stafford to join him on his trip north.

[Tasite]

Tas smile when Arthur said he like the family dining area but started laughing at the facial expression. Famished...good trying everything. I just got a new cook and I thing she is trying her best to impress the head of the family. Tas heard Arthur question. “Where is M&M” but before he could finish that statement and she could answer he came running into the room yelling.

All the blood just drained from her face as Marius continues to yell. But when Marius looked at his mother she had a stern look. Sorry Mama he said then took a seat. Thank you for calming down but you know better son. As she sat back he watch Arthur talk to him and she watch as her son face lit up. Tas wonder when would it ever be a good time to tell him about his father as she started to make her plate.

[Tasite]

I'm sorry Cousin. I promise to good me dun want to be at home by myself unless Dad is coming home. Looking at Arthur Marius smile as he made his plate. Thank you for my plate. See mama I can be good. As he started eating.

[Tasite]

Walks into the dining room in a daze.."Good Day all " says Nova as he looks around.. He turns towards Tasite and says "It might be better if you stop sending those males up to my room" he laughs... Then head turn toward his nephew "Hello Artie, how long have ye been here"

[Tasite]

Nova! Long time no see, my uncle. How have you been? Join us. He motioned over the food for him to eat. There is plenty for everyone. He turned his attention to Tasite, Where is your husband, my aunt? I have not seen him a long time... He looked around and didn't see any family pictures of the trio and wondered if something had happened that he was unaware of.

[Tasite]

Well look what the cat dragged in she giggled. Tas attention was drawn back to the table when she heard Arthur ask about Elson. Tas look down at her plate for a bit to gather her emotions. Looking back up she tried to keep her emotion in check in front of her son. Standing Tas smile at her son as she removes a letter from her pocket and passed it to Arthur. This will answer your question hun.

[Tasite]

He sighed after reading the letter regarding Elson. He was upset that Tasite was suffering and it made their trip south even more important. He placed his hand on her shoulder, We'll leave tomorrow. We got to get started on this trip so you can stop worrying about all of these things.

His hand dropped from her shoulder to hold her hand in his. We will have to handle this issue with the church in order to respect his wishes.. I'm sure it won't be a problem.

The next day, Arthur and his family were getting ready to leave. He had been accompanied by a few others from Stafford and they were all ready too. He sent a letter to them to inform them of their departure and their next destination. His bags were packed, and they were ready to go. M&M and Tasite entered the carriage that would be traveling south, while he & Nova mounted their horses ready for the trip south.

To Chester, we ride! He started the ride with his horse hard. He wanted to get there as quickly as possible to resolve some issues that were a part of his duties as Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals.
