He left the shield behind and made his way downstairs to the kitchen.
Passing by the nursery, the nannies were already busy with Becky, Evie, and Beau.
Evan walks in, takes Becky in his arms, kisses her forehead. She’s so small, warm, and delicate in his arms, her glowing eyes cause Evan’s heart to break at the thought of leaving his 9 little ones. She reaches out for his finger, squeezes. He never wants to let go……….Can’t I just stay here…. Hugs his dear daughter, rocking her against him, then gently hands the warm bundle back to the nanny. Heads into the hallway.

He hears approaching tiny pattering quick footsteps, it was Aiya running towards him
EVAN!.....Evan, about time you woke up…you missed PANCAKES!
Morning princess
Morning!?.....sleepyEvan……its nearly lunch!
I didn’t sleep well last night dear……
She took Evans hand and tugged him towards the kitchen

He was tugged down the hall by Aiyanna, she attempted to pull him in the kitchen
Evan knelt down next to Aiya, smiled, ruffled her hair
Just a moment princess, where’s mommie?
She’s in the pawwow
He hugged Aiya, Save me some pancakes now…don’t eat ‘em all tweaked her little nose, got up.

Aiya gave Evan a mischievous smile and wink and scurried back into the kitchen.

Evan entered the Parlour, saw Brianna sitting near the fire by the window.
He approached her, leaned over from behind the chair, wrapped his arms about his wife, kissed her ear, whispered ….You know I love you…I swear I will be back…nothing can keep me from you…
He came around to the front of the chair, knelt in front of his love placing his hands upon her legs, gazes up into her beautiful eyes I’m just going to scare off a few trolls and monsters from the mystic forest… smiles, kisses her, Then I’ll be right back…I promise love. I must do this.

[Tasite]

Hearing the rustle of foot steps coming into the room she sees her husband causing the tears to flood down her face a bit more.. The feeling of his hands on her and the look of his eyes into her made her heart skip , what if it didn't turn out fine.. what if ?

"No it doesn't have to be done there are others.. You shouldnt' have to go .. " the tears flooded down her cheeks more and more as she pushed away his hand standing up an anger in her eyes........... Her face as red as her hair as it flamed .. "I forbid it you can't go.. NO!! As your wife I forbid you to go!! You can't leave me" she screamed loudly a maid jumping as she walked passed the room.

[Tasite]

Evan released his wife as she got up, hung his head, standing, then wrapping his arms quickly about her fixing her with his eyes speaking to her in cool level tones.
You what!??…..I am NOT leaving you….listen to me now….BRI…
He grasped her in his arms, wiped the tears from her eyes, softened his voice
I am not leaving you…you know I must do this…I have put it off for to long love…I must do this with the others, we are needed…I will be back…I promise

She stomps her foot looking at him with a fierce look "NO you dont have to do this at all.. Dont make me have you tied to your bed." she looks at him with an evil grin. "Because i will do it Evan De Balboa"

"How does house arrest sound " she chuckles as she calls for the guards and they step into the room giving him a smile.

[Tasite]

Looks quickly down, moving his foot from the stomping Brianna
Turns his head towards the guards in the doorway, briefly, nervously, gives them a quick finger wave
Hi Guys!
Then, with his hands clasped behind her back, returns his full attention to the pouty princess, leans in, kisses her quickly upon the lips
You wouldn’t dare..
And……aren’t you already under house arrest????...I thought…..
He glances over at the bed, smiles, looks back to Brianna and adds with a twinkle

He gazes deeply into her eyes whispering
Fire or not runs his fingers through her flame red hair You know I must…despite all that has occurred in the past…I must do this…I shall always love you…nothing and no one can change that…nothing can take that away…I need your support…need you to be here, with my daughters and sons…besides
He glances back over his shoulder at the guards, then smiling back to Brianna
I don’t think they have enough rope

His jokes did not ease her anquish or worries "NOOOOO I will not support this , how can you ask me to support this when....................... When you know what I have been through?" she turns her back on him her face in her hands now crying.

"No but death can stop you from being here with me to feel your loving arms around me , it will stop you being able to play with our children, and it will stop an further building of our family as you wanted to . her tears flowed down her cheeks her eyes so puffy she could barely keep them open..

"I can't bare the thought of losing you.. I can't support this and I will not allow you to go .I............ just... can't Evan ... I can't deal with it.." she sobs running to the bed throwing herself down on it

Evan approaches his wife in the bedroom, lies down next to her upon the bed, and wipes tears from her eyes. He places an arm about her waist, his head next to hers, whispering to her
Love…….I need you to be strong…I’ll be alright…I swear to you... kisses her ear Please babe…if the little ones ask…..I’ve told them I’m just going to keep some people away that should not be here…and will be home in a few weeks……please love…I need you to be strong…for them…if they see you in that light then they will be ok…
He gazes deeply into her eyes, wipes her tears, brushing back her hair
You know how much I love you
Places his lips a whisper from hers
I need you to do this…will you do this for me…
Gives her a quick kiss and a wink, the small smile reappears upon his face
and…..we can do all the family building you like when I get home…
Looking into his only loves eyes
I’ll be fine…you’ll see……it’s nothing love……I’ll be home in no time

Her eyes red with tears as she looked at him.. She could not believe what he was saying to her he had no idea what he was asking of her .. He knew of what happened...Why would he ask her to do this... "I can't be strong, not for this.... What happens if you are't fine?" she looked at him pleading "Please do not go. " she begged him as she grabbed ahold tightly...

Her voice, her eyes……Evan was torn between duty, honor, and the deep love he felt for this one woman.
To see her hurting broke his heart. If only she could know how much he longed to just remain here, with her, forever within her embrace. His world revolved around her, it always did, and it always would. She was the reason, she was the one.
He clung tightly to Brianna
Love….I must….it no longer is a question of IF….but WHEN……they are leaving at first light. And….I know you, you can be strong love. That’s what I need you to be for me, for the children. Watch them for me; give them hugs and plenty of chocolate.
Evans eyes were briefly drawn to the shield glinting in the firelight lying against the far wall. Images of Roh came to the forefront of his mind.
He blinked hard and hugged his wife

It was then, that the finality of the situation struck him in the heart. The possibility of never feeling her soft breath against his neck in the pale moonlight. Of never seeing that one lock of hair that dangled in her face in the morning irritating her as she ate breakfast. Of not dancing with her slowly to the melodic sounds of night gazing deeply into her eyes. Of not being kicked awake in the middle of the night by a restless princess.
It was these thoughts that echoed within his soul as he held his beloved tightly.

Getting ready for another duty with her platoon. Tas stands in front of mirror grumbling, Dang uniform, I'm really starting to hate this dang thing. Hearing Martha giggling made Tas starts to laugh... Okay whats so funny Martha, as she crinkle her nose at her.

"My dear Tas she giggles it's not the uniform, your mad with and you know it."

Yea yea....I know Martha, but I'm just tired of all this fighting. Ready for some peace no quiet, and a lot of fun. Turning Tas reach for the pack of food Martha pack for her... I just hope I can hold something down. Hugging Martha, Tas smiles. Thank you for taking care of that rambunctious son of mine.

"You know he is in good hands here, with the kids around and the Princess here to keep him busy. So don't worry any, just take care and come back in one pieces."

Don't you worry any my dear friend, you know I will... giving Martha a big hug before she leaves the room. As Tas was making her way down the hall towards the stairs she heard the cries of her cousin Brianna. Figuring it might not be a good time to say bye, Tas just keep going making sure not to let any one see her leaving. Swiftly making her way down the stairs, stopping just at the front door. Tas turns to give everything one last look before she heads out to meet her platoon.

Hanging on to her husband so tightly, nope she wouldn't let him leave he would stay here with her for always like he is suppose to .. Her tears flowed even more as they lay there in the silence. Her heart sank as she knew she could do nothing to stop him, she rolled over and kissed him as if there was no tomorrow and started ripping off his clothes. Her hands ran his body seductively, he would not leave this house without knowing how much he meant to her..

He was suddenly chilly. How she managed to so quickly…….
But she saw to it that he was not wanting for warmth for long. If only he could remain.
He held his wife close. She was all that mattered.
Reality dissolved into a kaleidoscopic mixture of touch and movement within her embrace. The simple words whispered to her soul I love you Brianna could never fully express the infinite passion he so desired to make known.

[Tasite]

The morning was cold and so was the bed without her husband there to keep her warm.. She sighed as she looked at his empty spot on the bed as shadow sulked into the room and looked at the bed.. Shaking her head she pouted with him "Nope he isn't back yet..

with a great leap he jiumped in bed laying her head on Evan's pillow.. As a commotion comes through the door George the lion walks through with three babies on his back and the wagon with the other 3 pulling behind as Keagon held on to it.. "Mush Gweoge, MUSH!!" unable to control her laughter she looks at the poor lion and smiles as he lays down on thefloor rolling on his side sending the kids to the floor as he rolls with them .. The lion almost had a smile on his face it seemed ..

A messenger arrives at Greystoke, holding a small letter for the Princess Brianna
Knocks on the large oak doors…….

The incessant march of the days is far too long without you. And the nights unbearable. I miss you more than time can allow my being to express. My heart longs for your presence and my soul yearns for the comfort and song of your voice.

As I stand watch upon the parapet, the empty fields before me transforming into the place that I miss the most, I gaze up, momentarily, allowing the warming comfort of the sun to caress my soul, I can only wish it were you my love.
The campfires at night, no comfort, only reminding me all the more of home.
We live hour to hour watching the horizon for signs of disquiet, for a stirring. And the blank stares of comrades only reinforces the quiet yearnings we all share.
I count the days until your breath once again caresses my neck, until the day my hand touches yours my love.

She looking through some family papers received a knock on the door .. "Come in" I watched as Ingrid walked into the room as she handed me the note.. Looking through the note a tear fell down my face as she read each loving word as the fears began to well up in side of me and all sanity left her..

Throwing down the books she was looking through, she looked up at Ingrid get my bag ready I'm going to go get my husband .. With many hours of arguing with her she finally gave in as i had dressed in my riding clothes and placed the fiery curls up on my head.. "Your in charge Ingrid, make sure all Te children are taken good care of and that they have everything they need.. "

Standing next to the kids she smiled giving them kisses "I shall be home soon alright.. Listen to Ingrid and be good.. " with another quick kiss she walked out the door and jumped up on the black horse heading in the direction of the boarder..

It had been months since Bri, Evan and the kids went missing. Tasite decided it was time to come home especially for Marius.

Tasite and her companion had walked this road several time but nothing felt quite like this. Tas had a pit in her stomach that she felt would only grow as she got closer to the door. Reaching the Castle Tas saw the servants moving about the place vigorously cleaning since the castle had been empty for some months. Breath... you can do this.

Since her Sister took most of the staff with her. Tasite had to sit down with her Brother Nova and Nephew Arthur to hired a few new staff members. By now most people would be wondering how things were going with thenew staff but Tasite wasn't. She knew Martha could handle anything that came her way since she had been with her and this family since her parents had died. So for Tas there where no worries about things getting done. Martha was great with getting everything and everyone in shape. Stepping through the door Tas close her eyes just for a moment to listen to the sounds of the past.

Milday! Are you alright?

Yes, Martha, just remembering the things of the past..... Sorry is there anything you need of me.

No, Milady just making sure everything in order for you, young Marius and your Brother Nova

Ah speaking of him has he made it here yet.

No Milady he hasn't as far as I know.

It has been awhile since he had been here, the trail had been dusty on the ride up.. Nova looked up to see the place he called home, Greystroke Castle.
He starts up the path from the gate toward the house thinking of the road behind......

[Tasite]

Martha was walking the grounds with young Marius when she saw a gentlemen riding towards the castle. Dear Jah! I hope this is someone with news of General Elson, Milady hasn't been the same since he went missing. ...Come Marius, let us go and greet the traveler.

He looks up and see an unfamiliar face with his nephew, Nova dismounts and starts walking toward the stables to settle his horse in before heading into the house... With Dancer he never had to lead him by the reins, he just led the way and Dancer followed him... Nova stopped closed his eyes and tilted his head back listen to the wind and the surrounding sounds about Greystroke.. Then he felt a bump from behind as Dancer nozzle him to proceed......

[Tasite]

Theyt were headed in the direction of the stable when young Marius bolted from her grasp. So down young Marius as she tried keeping up.

Tis me unkle, Marius shouted as he ran ahead of her.Hury up! Marte.

I'm coming Marius just slow down before you fall. Please! Martha wonder why she even bother. Young Marius was most definitely a Tudor she thought as she rush to catch him.

Upon hearing a familiar voice Nova opens his eyes and looks toward the sound... Rubbing Dancers mane he spies his nephew Marius running toward him... Thinking of how glad it is to be home Nova smiles at the welcoming site... "Tis been a long road this time old friend " he says to his steed...

[Tasite]

Marius ran into the stable and over to Nova. Uncle uncle... you home. Did you come to talk with Mama and cheer her up? She been looking really sad but me not know whats wrong and I can't find Papa to ask. Do you know where my Papa is Uncle? Did you bring me anything?

[Tasite]

Seeing Marius, Nova smiles bending down he looks at his nephew. " I have not heard word of your father yet but i am sure he is fine" he says.. "Let say me and you head into the house and see what you mother is up to and bug the staff" Nova whisper to Marius......

[Tasite]

Marius smiles at his uncle, Ok! lets have some fun with bugs. Just don't tell mama she will not laugh either.
