Sparring with Jertydo

Mac set out for a nice relaxing walk. She enjoyed this time of year when the weather cooled and you could practically breathe the change in the air. A strong gusty wind blew from the West, and while it was still warm, it held a promise of cool air to come.

Soon she heard the the soft thuds of wood on wood followed by a low grunt and quickly broke into a run. It sounded like someone was in trouble! She tightly gripped the smooth wood of her own shaft (oh my!) , preparing for a fight. Happy she'd worn her walking skirt, a durable leather type with slits all the way to the thigh that allowed her freedom of movement and her soft leather boots.

Approaching the noise she was relieved to see Elmix standing against a tree. If he was here so relaxed then surely there was no mischief about. She stopped, catching her breathe and saw the cause of the racket. Jertydo and Chester were sparring very aggressively it appeared, and taking just as much they were each giving.

"They look like they're having fun! How are you doing today Elmix?"

Walks about, as a militiaman, keeping an eye out for criminal activities when seeing the fight going on, stops and scratch his head for a while thinking if he should get involved, then he notice that both Mac and Elmix is standing on the opposite side of the fight and walks over to them

While Elmix was standing against a tree and watching Chesterfield and Jertydo , when he saw Mac approaching. Elmix remebered how great she looked at the Chester beauty contest and whe she came closer, Elmix answered:

Hello Mac! I just went for a walk and saw Chesterfield and Jertydo! They are doing just great! And how are you doing today?

Elmix noticed that a new militiaman is aproaching them. After he comes closer and starts talking to Mac, Elmix drops in:

Hello Dewnis! We were just walking and noticed Jertydo and Chesterfield sparring! How are you doing?

Eyeing payback dude with anything but trust Mac moves closer to Dew. She felt slightly apprehensive with the four people now sparring. While jertydo and chester were merely playing around she felt a tension between paybackdude and elmix that was anything but friendly. Afterall, she didn't know this foreigner who showed up with a bug to fight, but she'd heard his name mentioned a time or two.

Reaching down she held her staff closer and crossed her feet, reassured to feel the small dagger snug in her boot. She tuned her ears to the sounds in the forest but was relieved to hear nothing but the musical chirping of birds and little animals scurrying through the brush. Still, she would rather be prepared... these days no where seemed particularly safe.

OOC: i just realized paybackdude created another thread for his duel and it appears that the duel is at a completely different time than this one, though it started here. I guess my post should be under that thread... but why start another thread? I'm confused, sorry!
